Tripura launched the ₹236 crore Mission Queen Pineapple on May 27, 2026, in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER). The initiative is designed as a three-year roadmap from FY2026 to FY2028 to strengthen the production, processing, and marketing of the GI-tagged Queen Pineapple, which is one of the state’s key horticultural products. Telangana inaugurated a ₹3 crore solar power plant managed entirely by women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under the Indira Mahila Shakti scheme on May 27, 2026. The 35th meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation & Coordination (WMCC) on India-China border affairs was held on 27 May 2026 in Beijing. The WMCC serves as an important institutional dialogue mechanism established in 2012 to maintain peace and stability along the India-China border. The meeting was led by Shri Sujit Ghosh from the Indian side and Ms. Hou Yanqi from the Chinese side.
