Andhra Pradesh launched the ‘Farm to Home’ programme on May 27, 2026, under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to improve farmer income through direct marketing of produce. The initiative focuses on delivering fresh agricultural products directly to households via Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), reducing intermediaries in the supply chain. Alongside this, the state reviewed multiple agricultural and allied sector missions, including infrastructure development such as Cocoa City at Yadavolu and the Indian School of Agriculture at Madanapalle. The programme also integrates digital initiatives like the Digi Rythu Bazaar app, modernisation of Rythu Bazaars, and promotion of natural farming techniques, strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s agricultural economy and rural development framework.
