Total volume = 100*.012 = 1.2cum.
30% more mortar required so 1.2+ (.3*1.20) = 1.56cum.
Now also to get dry volume of mortar, wet wet volume may b further increase by 25%.
So volume of dry mortar = 1.6+ (1.56*.25) = 1.95cum.
Now proportion = 1:6.
So volume of cement = (1/7) * 1.95 = 0.2785 (ans).

Given volume = 100*.012 = 1.2cum.
Increase mortar by 30% = 1.56cum.
For volume of dry mortar increase 25%= 1.56+ (1.56*.25) = 1.95cum.
Now proportion = 1:6.
k+6k=7k.
So volume of cement = (1/7) * 1.95 = 0.2785.
This is the correct answer.

You can take 30% for uniform wall and 25% for dry volume i.e. total 55% Now 10x10x0.012 = 1.2 hence (1.2/1+6)+(1.2/1+6)x55/100 = 0.2785.

How could you take, extra 30% morter?

Volume of plaster = area * thickness = 0.012*100 = 1.2 cum.
Increase this by 30 % therefore = 1.2*1.3 = 1.56 cum.
For volume of dry mortar = 1.25*1.56 = 1.95 cum.
Now 1 part is of cement and 6 part is of sand so,
Cement = (1/7) *1.95= 0.2785 volume of cement.
Volume of one bag of cement = 0.035 cum.
So no of bags required = 8 bags.
Increase this by 30 % therefore = 1.2*1.3 = 1.56 cum.
For volume of dry mortar = 1.25*1.56 = 1.95 cum.
Now 1 part is of cement and 6 part is of sand so,
Cement = (1/7) *1.95= 0.2785 volume of cement.
Volume of one bag of cement = 0.035 cum.
So no of bags required = 8 bags.

Is is possible go around 55% volume extra for dry & wet mortar?

Volume of plaster = 0.012*100 = 1.2 m^3.
Add 20% depression & wastages volume of plaster = 1.2+1.2*20% = 1.2+0.24 = 1.44.
Add 1/3 dry volume = 1.44+1.44*1/3 = 1.44+0.48 = 1.92 m^3.
Cement = 1.92*1/7 = 0.274 m^3.
Add 20% depression & wastages volume of plaster = 1.2+1.2*20% = 1.2+0.24 = 1.44.
Add 1/3 dry volume = 1.44+1.44*1/3 = 1.44+0.48 = 1.92 m^3.
Cement = 1.92*1/7 = 0.274 m^3.

I think answers may vary because one may decide to allow 10-20% for wastage& 30%-35% for shrinkage.

Volume of plaster = 0.012 * 100 = 1.2 m^3.
Add 60% for new wall depression & wastages volume of plaster = 1.2 + 1.2 * 60% = 1.92 cum.
Cement = 1.92 * 1/7 = 0.274 m^3.
Add 60% for new wall depression & wastages volume of plaster = 1.2 + 1.2 * 60% = 1.92 cum.
Cement = 1.92 * 1/7 = 0.274 m^3.
