(60/100) X 1.2 + 1.2.
= 1.92/1+6.
= 0.274.
60% water.
100 x 0.012 = 1.2 m3.
= 1.92/1+6.
= 0.274.
60% water.
100 x 0.012 = 1.2 m3.

Area to be plaster = 100m^2.
Thickness of plaster = 12mm = 0.012m.
The volume of plaster = 100x0.012 = 1.2m^3.
Adding 20%of wet volume,
= 1.2 + 1.2 x 20% = 1.44m^3.
Increase the wet material by 33% (generally, as range is 30-35%) volume in order to get dry volume.
The volume of dry material = 1.44 + 1.44 x .33 = 1.952 m^3.
Now, volume of cement = 1/7x1.952 = 0.2736 m^3 on rounding off it will be equal to 0.274 m^3 as per answer.
