I have got nothing to do with the age of the person I am reporting to. His/Her qualifications, experience, knowledge and efforts might have lead to achieve good designation. As of me, it is reporting to my higher up and it is part of my job.

Being an employee, I have report higher authority. Higher position depending on skill, talent, ability and knowledge etc. Not dependent on age so sincerely I will report.

It doesn't matter for me to reporting the younger person.

I report to post, not to the age of the person. Age is just a number. And I think to repost someone only talent and post matter, not the age.

I personally feel age is just a number. It is the hard work and smart work along with determination which amplifies one's range. So, instead of feeling shamed or depressed of reporting to younger ones I will tend to gain knowledge from him and learn the possible ways to move ahead professionally.

Actually, in an organizational set up it doesn't matter whether your manager is younger or older than you. In my previous organization, I have seen people who are working there for 5 years is reporting to a 25-year-old manager who has just joined. I feel that's completely okay one shouldn't bring the age factor there.

Every designation demands a knowledge without adding any business so I am also standing for the designation applied for, so I am definitely going to respect no matter younger or older. I believe in learning.

Well, that person is maybe an inspiration in some ways, I feel that person must be unique. I believe they are creative and more energetic. Younger or older doesn't matter in the profession. Respect to be considered. Its all in your mind.
