Yes, of course, India needs dictatorship. It's because till we Indians are under the British rule we had things that were far better from now. Now, we see things that are losing its true nature. Corruption is having its hand on the higher level. The democracy is having nothing to do because it's busy on its way making money out of everything. And if the governance is that of a dictatorship India will work wonders. Because then at least with the fear at least people may change their attitude towards society and at least then a kind of communalism can then occur. Shakespeare has once quoted spare the rod spoil the child. This means till the governance is not strict at its part, change can NVR be expected. So India is in need of strict discipline for It DICTATORSHIP is the best governance.

Hi, this is Shikhar.
India has always been a country, which follows the culture of self-discipline in ruling other nations. It carries the principle of diversity. All were given the rights. But in the present scenario, we as a whole seemingly have failed to attain this motive. The people are making propaganda of even smaller things. The healthy social media objective is a long-gone thing. Frivolous issues are trending and are becoming a big hit.
In this kind of a situation when the country is heading towards a complete disorder (anarchy) and people are making a mockery of almost every agenda, the idea of dictatorship comes as a sudden flash to mind of a few conscientious people. Besides, this rule will help people learn self discipline and understand the values of what India was.

India has democracy for nearly 68 years.
We did have progressed a lot but democracy has made us lazy in context with are work. The powers are divided among too many people, the president is just for name sake. He is just like the Queen of England fake fame and pride. He can't even make decision for the armed forces of which he is the very head. This vast division of power has made our rulers sick leading to corruption, dishonesty, etc.
In such conditions dictatorship is very useful. Same as Germany in 1936. A country that didn't even had enough food to feed its people was ready to go on a massively destructive war till 1939. What I think is that like India has adopted the communist as well as democratic ways of governing it should also adopt some characteristics of dictatorship.

Democracy with a pinch of dictator values is what India wants right now. By this I basically emphasise on the slow developments in our society. We Indians are people who work best under fear. Let's take example of wearing helmets, we wear helmets not because it keeps us safe but we wear it because we fear the traffic policemen who would otherwise impose a challenge on us.
Developement in India is today limited to that helmet when we see the "Danda" we develop, when we don't we pause. So according to me the parties should be limited to two or three so that people can easily judge. The elected must have right to make bold decisions and should only be questionable only to the highest authority so as to instill a sense of fear to work and development would be the result.

I think India needs a benevolent and patriotic dictator for a 15 year period. One who can stop the propaganda run by each media outlets in India which gives rise to communal tension in our society. I believe the press shouldn't be allowed to run their propaganda in defaming a particular religion or culture. Development, economy and foreign relation should be the issues emphasised in our country. India needs a dictator who can keep the people of our country united. Nationalism should be enforced and one should always view themselves as an Indian before anything.
Only when we the people of India are united and proud of our country, we can take India to New heights and I believe this is not possible in a democracy run by corrupt politicians and a worthless opposition.

In my opinion, Democracy is the best form of government India can have. India is the most diverse country where people of many religion, language, culture etc live. These have varied interests which no single person can entertain.
In democracy, every community has their representatives in the government who fights for their interests, thus everybody has the authority which make them satisfied.
I know that despite democracy we have not been able to achieve what we wanted but the unity, fraternity and peace in the country is due to the democracy and if we want the country to achieve more success then we, the people should change our attitude and hold accountability as it is ultimately the people of our own society that are taking the decisions.

Hi friends, I am anil. This topic of whether India needs dictatorship is a serious one. So, we must take adequate steps regarding this matter.
In my point of view there is no use of dictatorship in India. India is a vast country and different people have different needs. So it is difficult for one person to understand the needs of all the people.
It is not right to imply dictatorship by looking at the other countries. America is developed because they are used to dictatorship and there problems are different and there population is also very less as compare to India.
Democratic government is the best for the countries like India. Only thing that is required is that the leaders which are selected should work properly and faithfully.
THANKS.

According to my point of view, India is a democratic country. There is no need of dictatorship for people country but political party must need to dictator, because at present time the member of party feel independent. There is no restricting rule for the member of party.
So according to me the chief of party should have to be dictator for his own member because party is run on the basis of their chief the member is follow his chief that they instruct. But dictatorship should not be for development.
When you represent the own country in world level at that time dictatorship is acceptable because it shows the power of country and economy. Dictatorship will only be acceptable on the basis of development, secularism, nutrility, non violence.

The debate whether India needs dictatorship can go on for a long time so far as until India becomes fully developed nation which again means a very very long time or almost near to impossible considering the present rate of improvement, but one thing is for sure after all these years through, the great souls of legendary revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Sukhdev and Rajguru might be wondering today "was it really worth it".
Divide and Rule policy by British government or,
Caste based vote bank politics by Indian politicians.
Loot of India wealth by British govt in their whole time period. or,
Loot of Indian wealth by Indian politicians in the last 70 years.
Was it really worth a freedom for all those sacrifices.

According to me, Within the Next 10 Years India will be under Dictatorship and the next 10 years It will become BHARAT (Notice the difference between India Hindustan and Bharat) They all are same nation physically but Totally different Politically and Culturally. India will be under Dictatorship and that's for sure because For the Full and complete development of the nation not only will the Government be responsible but more importantly the citizens of the nation because as we cannot clap with one hand, development cannot take place with just one authority. We need to go back to our culture i.e. from India to Bharat. And some really tough decisions are to be made in order to get this done and Dictatorship is the only way out.
