In my point of view, there are positive as well as negative impacts of technology are there on jobs.

Firstly, I would like to speak about the positive impacts.

The new technologies have reduced human effort. Last year I went to the numaligarh refinery and in the wax plant of the refinery, I saw that the packaging was done by some machines rather than manually.

It also consumes less time and as a result, more number of works can be done in a given time.

There are also negative impacts such as in the villages there is a huge number of uneducated people who are not familiar with such technologies. So it increases the risk of unemployment.

Also, the technology reduces the manpower there is a huge risk of unemployment. Recently Amazon has launched drone for a delivery purpose which has increased the risk of unemployment for the delivery boy.

As we all know science has made a lot of progress in improvement, as new studies are going on to cut down a human effort to save time and money the consistent way to copacetic business.

There are many pros and cons of technology.

1. New technology is time- saving and also plays a crucial role in saving additional money on manpower.
2. There will be lesser space for the error that can ruin the entire operation.
3. The work will be performed immaculately without fluctuated peaks in operations.
4. Technology can work all day long without making things screwed up.

Cons:

1. As technology has become the backbone of all the business and technical fault in the machine can cause a delay operation.
2. The personal touch of customer service may fall down due to the use of a manually operated system.
3. It will cause unemployment.

I got the opportunity to share my views. There is some good and bad impact of technology on jobs. But the good impact is quite a havier than a bad one. Nowadays automation and digitalisation are increasing day by day. Due to automation machine can do a lot of work within less time but a man can't. It also improves productivity and quality of production while there might be chances of error in human work. Overall technology improves our economy as well as GDP.

It has also some demerits especially those who are illiterate and not aware of technology how it works so he might have problems in getting a job. Overall it creates the problem of unemployment.

So the government should provide good infrastructure, training programme to make them understand about technology so that they will be able to get a job.

Accordong to me, Technology increases productivity but most of the work we do requires a skills and brains nas brawn, technical exeprtise. In general evolving with technology doesnt make the otger ones unnecessary. In fact it makes them more important to economic value.

I will give you one exp like ATMs could do certain cash handling task faster than tellers but that didn't make tellers unemployable it increased the importance of their problem solbing skills and their realtionship with people.

Automation creates wealth by allowing us to do more work in less time.

But on the other end obviously there is some risk of unemployment for those who are working on repetitive task like transportation and cashier because that work can do easily and smartly by robots. For those who ade working with critical thinking they will on safe job.

The role of Technology has been very important when it comes to jobs. Its has made the process of finding a suitable job very easy. There is so many good job searching website where we can register yourself and the rest of the work is done by that particular website. There are online skill training courses which can be used by a person to make him competent for a particular job. There was a time when filling the form for some job used to be a very hectic procedure but now you just need to go online and rest is very easy.

So, yes technology has proved to be a boon for us but still as they say Every light has its shadow same with technology. In some areas technology is replacing human; for example, in hospitality sectors, human food servers is getting replaced by robot making them redundant.

Negative impact:

1. Due to the increase in automatic machines unemployment is increasing.

2. Dependency on machines is blindly following by organization.

Well, it has its positives and negatives. The positive is, it makes the country more prosperous. In today's day and age the more technologically superior a country is, the more prosperous the country would be. The negative is it is creating unemployment like never before. No doubt technology is also creating jobs but there is no guarantee that such jobs would remain forever. With further advancement in technology jobs like in call centers may also become obsolete in future. So anyone, whether illiterate, semi literate, or literate and educated can be affected by technology. Technology can also cause health problems for example working too much time on computer causes eye problems. Government should address this problem without having to compromise with technological development.
