Social media is based on how people are using it. There are two probabilities one is users can learn skills and make effective and earn knowledge making it more money.

Another one is they are addicted to social media and wasting their precious time. This is my opinion of social media.

Firstly, I shared my thoughts in our topic. The effect of social media they have social media is two types are there the first positive side second negative side positive side with help and connect people negative side is ignored.

They say what is there is not there and what is not there is. The current social media is a very bad situation. Now social media is one thing that makes anything known fast.

In my opinion, social media can be good in some ways. It helps us communicate with family members when we can't be present at occasions and functions. Through calls and video sharing, we can see what's happening in real time.

Social media also helps us with online activities such as registration, ticket booking, online transactions, home delivery, and more.

However, there are also negative aspects. Because of social media, we sometimes don't spend enough time with our parents. At a very young age, we may start experiencing vision problems (eye problems). It can also distract us from our studies and cause many other issues.

In previous past, before the internet, for a single doubtful topic we had to search many books, and now we simply search our doubt on the internet. In the case of Business, we can sell our product online. Also, Social media influencers are making their income by creating useful content like reels, daily vlogs by using their editing skills, for them, Social media is a very powerful platform.

But while Social being convenient and an opportunity, it also brings some serious issues its Excessive use. Excessive use of Social media can lead to anxiety and depression. To reduce, we must use Social media for useful purposes and not engage of scrolling reels. We must engage ourselves in Physical activities like yoga, also make drawings, listen to music create artistic things that make our mind Fresh.

First of all, a network or a web is a cluster of all information's including all the bad and good ones, and network sites are one of them. It is like a mirror to our modern society where many people spend their time on social sites. If we positively use this, then it will be very helpful, like many people become YouTubers, vloggers and earn handsome money but if we look its opposite side, which is devastating. Some children get trapped in online games and fake investing sites, and some lose their lives. Spending much time on social sites is also an addiction which leads to unproductivity and depression.

Yes, social sites is just like a clay, if we build it in a good way, then it will show its goodness otherwise no use of this sites is the only solution.

Today's topic of discussion is the impact of networking sites. As mentioned earlier, there are multiple advantages of these sites. But at the same time it has decreased the focus span of a person. There are FOMO updates, messages. It helps remain in touch with connected with college friends, school friends. Even small updates people post on these sites. Sometimes it creates data and privacy concerns. People often start comparing, which sometimes leads to an inferiority complex.

We are here to discuss the impact of social media. Like every topic, social media has also pros and cons. Let me start with the pros.

Social media nowadays are creating many opportunities for people. Take the case of students. To get a pocket money or passive income, students nowadays choose content creation and posting it on social media and monetising their content. Business people are using it to create a network. Some people are creating their own personal brand through social media.

So many people are doomscrolling and wasting their time on unnecessary apps. This is the largest con of social media.

On one side, people are using it to generate income and on the other side, some people are using the same thing for no purpose. If we are using it for a good purpose, i.e to gain knowledge, to build our brand, to create a network, to share information, to communicate, then social media is something one cannot replace because of the wide opportunities it is giving. I forgot to say, social media has become a powerful platform for people to voice their opinions and react to various issues happening in society.

In my opinion, social media has both good and bad sides. We use social media for studying, learning, shopping, and finding jobs. This is the good side of social media. But we see there are many scams and frauds on social media.

Social media can make people lazy. They spend time scrolling through reels and wasting it. So, my opinion is that the use of social media depends on us. Everyone should use it in a good way.
