Let us take the example of the Education system. Today all learning materials of every course are available on an online platform, it saves our time and energy. In previous past, before the internet, for a single doubtful topic we had to search many books, and now we simply search our doubt on the internet. In the case of Business, we can sell our product online. Also, Social media influencers are making their income by creating useful content like reels, daily vlogs by using their editing skills, for them, Social media is a very powerful platform.

But while Social being convenient and an opportunity, it also brings some serious issues its Excessive use. Excessive use of Social media can lead to anxiety and depression. To reduce, we must use Social media for useful purposes and not engage of scrolling reels. We must engage ourselves in Physical activities like yoga, also make drawings, listen to music create artistic things that make our mind Fresh.

First of all, a network or a web is a cluster of all information's including all the bad and good ones, and network sites are one of them. It is like a mirror to our modern society where many people spend their time on social sites. If we positively use this, then it will be very helpful, like many people become YouTubers, vloggers and earn handsome money but if we look its opposite side, which is devastating. Some children get trapped in online games and fake investing sites, and some lose their lives. Spending much time on social sites is also an addiction which leads to unproductivity and depression.

Yes, social sites is just like a clay, if we build it in a good way, then it will show its goodness otherwise no use of this sites is the only solution.

Today's topic of discussion is the impact of networking sites. As mentioned earlier, there are multiple advantages of these sites. But at the same time it has decreased the focus span of a person. There are FOMO updates, messages. It helps remain in touch with connected with college friends, school friends. Even small updates people post on these sites. Sometimes it creates data and privacy concerns. People often start comparing, which sometimes leads to an inferiority complex.

We are here to discuss the impact of social media. Like every topic, social media has also pros and cons. Let me start with the pros.

Social media nowadays are creating many opportunities for people. Take the case of students. To get a pocket money or passive income, students nowadays choose content creation and posting it on social media and monetising their content. Business people are using it to create a network. Some people are creating their own personal brand through social media.

So many people are doomscrolling and wasting their time on unnecessary apps. This is the largest con of social media.

On one side, people are using it to generate income and on the other side, some people are using the same thing for no purpose. If we are using it for a good purpose, i.e to gain knowledge, to build our brand, to create a network, to share information, to communicate, then social media is something one cannot replace because of the wide opportunities it is giving. I forgot to say, social media has become a powerful platform for people to voice their opinions and react to various issues happening in society.

In my opinion, social media has both good and bad sides. We use social media for studying, learning, shopping, and finding jobs. This is the good side of social media. But we see there are many scams and frauds on social media.

Social media can make people lazy. They spend time scrolling through reels and wasting it. So, my opinion is that the use of social media depends on us. Everyone should use it in a good way.

In my opinion, social media is used by many people in every field (application), healthcare, research, banking system, etc.

Social media has good and bad opinion depends on the mind set.

Using a good mind set gain knowledge and a bad mind set use waste time using the platforms like Insta, Facebook.

According to me, I see social media as both the perspectives from positive and negative its depend on how you use not depends on how many hours you use the social media but if have to choose one I go for the positive side.

Because both the things are useful if you use correctly. Nowadays social media is much needed for everyone even students because in every school information details messages or anything else can be shared through by the help of social media which was very less time consuming and for students it helps to study the concept which in they are week because teacher are not available 24*7 hours.

If they have any doubt they can solve it with the help of social media.

In my conclusion, I said that the technology increases day by day as much as we need the knowledge of social media as much.

I would like to add my view on this topic.
Social Media is beneficial or a bad thing entirely depends on how we use it.
One can use it for studying and for starting their own business, but other people become addicted to it, like scrolling all the time and watching unnecessary things on social media. There is a lot of informative as well as unnecessary content on social Media.
The content on social networking sites is sometimes very disturbing, which becomes bad influence on some.

There are some points that we need to always keep in mind while doing or using social networking sites. Never get addicted to it. Using it should be in our control, not on the other's control. Everything in a limit is good but if its usage goes beyond a certain limit, then it becomes hazardous.

Social media has grown so much over the past few years. Helping us in many ways but at the same time, distracting the youth, not only youth but all the three generations from the main vision, the vision for which it has been made.

Nowadays, people are using it for solely entertainment purposes but it's more than that. It is above those you tube shorts, Instagram reels and TikTok. Some poeple are earning money from this but many are just wasting time on watching those 30 second videos. And technology got so much advanced nowadays that these ML also are getting so efficient in giving recommendations.

Need to take some steps like:

1) Turn off recommendations.
2) Make a schedule.
3) Use it to develop some skills which will help you in future.
