People start using the social media with positive mind set but knowingly or unknowingly it create a negative impact on people. People waste a lot of time by chating with other, it also effect the psycological bheviour of people, there is some personal social media sites which are really good like link in, quora where we find job and get solution of our situation. But there is some negative impact of social media account may get hacked, loss of money on gaming and betting app.

When it first came into public the concept was to socialize many people at the same time from a single click. The goal was to reach to a mass audience and make them network with the growing and developing world but today it is a site with a lot more potential than it was built to be. Especially in the trade, e-commerce and business world. The introduction of digital marketing, social media marketing, and YouTube advertisement has given some of the big boost to many well-known companies. But with that said it has become one of the most populous and outgrowing networking worlds bringing today's generation constraints in virtual reality rather than the real world.

Some of the major consequences are very concerning towards their mental health and well-being with the outgrowing number of depression, anxiety, bipolar and many more.

Social networking is a tool that can be highly destructive or highly constructive depending on its usage and the user's mentality over it.

I would like to say that social media is a way to communicate with a lot of friends simultaneously. I too spend a lot of time on social networking sites. But when I see people going crazy for something like popularity or gaining followers or likes I think social media is not good. It has some positive and also negative impacts. If we are talking about the positive sides I can say it gives us information about education, news, and what is happening around the world. It gives us information about jobs and general knowledge. On the negative side, people often use social media for wrongdoings let's say spreading fake news, or going crazy for something some silly things. Children are spending a lot of time on social media when they shouldn't.

Now, I would like to conclude by saying that it depends on people how they want to use it if they want to use it positively it is good if they want to use it negatively it is not good.

Social networking has the power to give justice to anyone through social for example recently there was an accident in a Porsche car in Pune two people died.

The two people are from a poor family. But officially driver does not get any penalty or any custody for the accident. And with the help of social media they get more information and the penalty to the driver.

As there are two sides to every coin, social media can also be detrimental in many ways. It is often used as a mode to be pretentious and to exaggerate one's means of life to seem appealing. But this can develop a cynical attitude in people, as everyone seems pretentious to some extent.

There is also another section of cyberbullying, which is prevalent these days. It can destroy the self-esteem of a person and increase self-doubt and a sense of inferiority complex. The anonymity of these sites perpetuates these trolls and it has been increasing in the last couple of years.

In conclusion, social media can be a boon or bane, depending on the person who uses it. So it is important to be mindful, considerate, and empathetic while using them.

Social media itself is not the problem. It is the way people use it in place of actual communication and in-person socializing. “Friends” on social media may not be friends, and may even be strangers. The more time spent on social media can lead to cyberbullying, social anxiety, depression, and exposure to content that is not age-appropriate. FOMO has become a common theme and often leads to continual checking of social media sites. The idea that you might miss out on something if you’re not online can affect your mental health.

Actually, I personally feel that social media networking sites are good for people. Cause with the help of social media networking sites, people are able to get connected throughout the world i.e., we can know what ever is happening in every corner of the world by just sitting at a place. This can only be possible through social media networking apps. But some people took it as an advantage and making it as cash. Even these apps are useful for people to get employed or get educated and learn any of the technologies. But there are even few people in this society who misuse this. They use it in a wrong way and always cause trouble to people. They often bully people to make money.
