Social networking sites are created in order to communicate with different people living in different areas and thus have wide communication but in reality it is used just for utilising spare time and sometimes wasting time.

Social sites if used in right direction is useful otherwise only a tool used by us for timepass.

Social media has a lot of roles to play in today's youth by providing them entertainment, interaction with strangers, making new friends and much more. Social media also helps some businesses to promote their product by posting videos or photos to grab customers attention. When people get tired or bored, they come here to get their stress relieved.

Nowadays, if one is not using any Social Sites somewhat lacks behind what's going on around the globe, he lacks a bit of knowledge.

On the other hand, if someone is addicted to reels or some short videos that are now trending on every social media, then it becomes very hard for that person to come out of it, he/she is somehow doesn't want to open any of it, that addiction will make him do the same thing on and again which is very bad for an individual. It leads to time wastage instead one can utilize that time for developing some skill or personality which will help in the near future.

Let's wind it up, everything under control is good for a person to go with until that becomes a bad addiction to some negative things.

According to me, social media has helped many small entrepreneurs in growing their businesses as it has a wider reach. Marketing on social media is very feasible and less costly. It reaches out to the world within few clicks. But it is also mandatory make some regulations so that scams can be avoided.

In my point of view, there is both positive and negative impact of social media, but it depend on use.

Positive Impact: There are many platforms on social media that can be used. We can easily access information about all things, we can also stay in touch with friends, families and others.

Negative Impact: If you can playing games & watching video's. So, some Peoples are addicted to social media which badly affect on their life, there is a communication gap between people so, many health issues, depression, & many more.

So Here, I am concluded that the use of social media is fully dependent on user then it is good or bad according to use.

Second Negative effect,

Social sites are very harmful for children they are playing games every time, watching cartoons, and videos. So it affects on their eyes and Mental health.

Advantages:

We can communicate with the friend and relative which are living abroad for various purposes. Also, various social networking makes our life easier like online shopping.

Ticket booking, etc. Youtube is the best way for a student to extract knowledge and help in their studies. Social networking websites are part of our life and connect people with similar interests.

Disadvantages:

Many children play online video games telling their parents as they are studying.

In searching a good content the children need to waste their precious time.

Many of the spam websites are there which may lead to enter viruses in our pc mobile, laptop, etc. Spending more time on it produces diseases like mental illness, eye-sight problems, etc.

Social media become a very relevant part of our life, we knew that we are a social animals that can't stay alone, but now social media is giving us exactly the platform we wanted from connecting with people to accessing knowledge in a minute is become so easily.

Social media is somewhere boon for us like we can get news from all over the world in sec we can use social media to connect with our loved ones easily, we can do video calls to see our loved ones and. But everything has its own drawbacks or disadvantages It's all upon the user how he is using it.

People are using Instagram, and Facebook the whole day watching reels for hours and wasting their valuable time. By watching the Instagram and WhatsApp status of other people their mental health gets affected. Kids are eating or sleeping only after watching some content on youtube, kids are scrolling through youtube sorts every 10sec that decreases their attention span affecting their eyes so much that they can't imagine.

So I concluded that we should limit our social media interaction. We should know properly how much we should use it. With proper guidance and control, social media is an outstanding platform.

Pros:

Connectivity: Social Media plays an important role in the connectivity of people to their relatives, friends and beloved ones. Nowadays we all know how we are slowly disconnecting to our family and friends. Because of social media, we are at least in touch with them.

Business: Nowadays Social Networking sites are playing a big role in business organisations.

Those who don't have enough money to establish their own shop or office are running their organisation through social networking sites.

Cons:

Addiction to social media is one of the major problems of the new generation. Instead of utilizing it, they are simply wasting their time in scrolling up and down.
