Social Media is a platform where we can engage with people across the world. This also helps us connect with famous people and see their lifestyle. Social Media is also a deep ocean of content and knowledge.

But there are some disadvantages of social media, too. People keep scrolling reels and posts on social media, which hampers their productivity, and instead of meeting in person, they feel easier to connect through social media, which reduces physical interactions.

Social media is a game-changer for students, acting as a massive hub for learning and global business opportunities. It makes finding resources and connecting with experts incredibly easy.

However, we must be careful, as this same accessibility allows misinformation and scams to spread quickly, requiring us to stay alert.

Impact of Social Networking Sites on Society.

In my point of view, I will stand on both sides, even though social media has several advantages and disadvantages.

The advantages :
* Feel free to learn, and it is open source and can be accessed from anywhere.

*I can create more opportunities for a job for the unemployed or freshers.

*It is a platform like Instagram, Facebook, etc.

Nowadays, many people are struggling, so it makes them seek help from others.

The Disadvantages:

* In social networking, it may cause fake incidents to reach all the people very quickly.

* It can also be risky because watching social media, we are just scroll the video or any visual representation it can contain many emotional like happiness, anger, sadness, etc. It trains our dopamine to achieve success in a short period of time.

*It makes people lazy. In the past, they used to read books and search many places to learn things, but nowadays it has been reduced by social media.

* It also depends on how we approach it,

From my perspective, things may be good or bad. We have to utilise it as per our needs.

Hello folks, I have a few thoughts to share on this topic.

I think we have to accept the reality that is Advanced, fast and extrovert and short instead of fighting regularly to not use insta and other social sites we should start learn how to use them to better our life, earlier we use to watch movies that takes 3, 4 hours watching new took 1, 2 hours and serials take 2, 3 hours watching ads for 15 min without skipping we waste a lot of time on these things now we are living in a Internet era where we get bestest content according to our choices and likings and it takes only 20, 30 sec but instead of wasting hours we have to just give 20, 30 sec. I think people shoud only use one app that is Instagram; that is enough for everything. Like, if you are working or studying, keep one distraction it saves a lot of energy watching and searching for different content.

On instagram you will get everything A to Z so and starts working on life and do great things because now we get best technology, we don't have time to watch 2, 3 content to get dopamine, eventually we want dopamine so we get it in 30 sec so why to watch for 3 hours to feel the same dopamine you get in 20 sec. I believe people should use Instagram to build their careers, connect with friends, and follow a few rules: maintain social media discipline and use your creativity to make the world better.

In my view, social media is a huge platform for everyone to use it and make it their career development and for example, in this content, all of you said that social media is depends on how we use it. Yeah, I accept that there is no changes, but social media gives flexibility for everyone's posts, stories, and news. In this, it will check or analyse the content then there will be no scam added.

It has both pros and cons.

Today, Social media plays a crucial role in the current society. People are attentive towards the social media platforms rather than news papers. We are able to gain much knowledge through them. Many influencers earn money from these sites.
And teenagers are misusing these sites for personal activities which are not encouraged by the society. Many online scams and suspicious calls have become common these days. We should use social media sites to a limited extent and not expose any private information.
