The bad impact of social media is that social media reduce outdoor activities that cause vulnerable health.

I think in my point of view, everything has a positive and negative side depending on the people's mindset. Social networking sites have many positive sides like it connects people from everywhere, using social networks much information can be collected so use it in a positive way.

Some people waste and invest more time in social media like scrolling reels, playing games etc due to this it affects our mental and also physical health.

According to me, there is both positive and negative impact of social media. There are many platforms on social media that can be used for learning, earning, etc. Because of this we can easily access information about all things, we can also stay in touch with friends, families, or relatives.
This is a positive impact.

But everything has two sides one positive & the second negative. So, it has also some negative impacts. Peoples are addicted to social media which badly affect on their life, I.e. there is a communication gap between people, many cyber threats, health issues, depression, & many more.
So Here, I am concluded that the use of social media is fully dependent on us then it is good or bad according to use.

Social media like WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. helps us to connect people virtually. For eg we can talk to anyone face to face through video call on WhatsApp or many other apps so it has made ours life easy. Social networking also the provides the job opportunities virtually. Through it we gets lots of information about happening over the world. For eg we get to know about Israel and Palestine war, many new defense technique for protection etc. so social networking help us in many ways but its in our hand to use it carefully as we know that there many cyber crimes, fraud, misuse of information which will get us into troubles.

Pros: Social media is one of the best sites when it comes to connecting people and interacting with people all around the world. We can make friends through social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, etc. We can gain proper knowledge about things that we want to learn. Social platform like youtube provides us with different kinds of knowledgeable videos in various fields of education, cooking, tech information, gardening, management, etc. Social media is good when it is used properly. It connects us with our loved ones. Through social media, we can chat and video call our friends and acquaintances, who are very close to us.

Cons: social media has its negative sides as well. It is misused by scammers for cyber crimes. In sometimes, it's misused by children to waste their precious time in such futile reels and shorts by scrolling continuously for hours and hours. People are weakening their eyesight by excessive use of social media. Nowadays social media is becoming a crime hub for scammers. These days a new type of fear is revealed which is deepfake. Through this hackers and scammers are ruining life of innocent. So we have to be aware of these scams.

It enhances social networking connectivity, allowing individuals to stay in touch with friends, family, and colleagues regardless of geographical distances.

People can share information, updates, and life events with a broader audience.

It's a better platform for marketing to build brand awareness and engage with customers directly.
