Social media have both pros and cons. It depends upon how we choose to use it. It has a lot of pros like connecting with people, family members etc, Technology is updated well nowadays everyone uses their phone for everything. Without technology, we can't live our life. Because all our needs are fulfilled by using technology like online shopping, online education, and news readings in news apps. These are the pros of social media. At the same time, it has some cons like someone collects our data and uses it wrongly. Gather our photos on social media and edit our photos as wrong. It is a bad thing. And elders are not aware of social media some people easily scam them.

First of all, Social media has brought the whole world a little bit closer. We can connect with our friends, family, and even coworkers through social media. Secondly, we get information through social media and even information can be passed through social media sites. It has made our life even more simple. Through social media sites like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, we can share our thoughts. However, there is a disadvantage because of social media. Many people get cheated through social media sites. Even financial scams have taken place through social media Cybercrime, and cyberbullying also happen through social media sites. If social media is used with the right intention, it is a boon, otherwise it is a curse.

Social media like platform as WhatsApp, Facebook, tweeter are giving to people opportunities to connect easily each other across the long distances. Now everything is available only on your fingertips. India has 696 million internet users and in the world, there are 3.5 billion internet users. India is also the second largest online market behind China so it is good for our country for the economic condition. Social media is also allowing democratization of knowledge and broader communication. So it bridge between people and make easy to communicate with people. There are many benefits of Social media if we use in a proper way.

We can use this platform in many different ways but every person will use this media in their own perspective, personal needs in many ways as we can do. If we are able to grab the information in a useful manner there is no one.

Impacts of social networking sites. I totally agree with all of you present here, like everyone said, social media is helping us in a positive and also impacts us in a negative way. Social networking, which includes social media sites, networking platforms, like for banking for news spreading, etc, but if you say in a positive way. I want to you to pay attention towards cybercrime. Nowadays, Cybercrime is one of the threats to social media. Cyber attacks is spreading nowadays it only use social media together information about someone and to miss you eat for blackmail that person. Similarly, the case arises for social networking sites. It depends on the user. All positive aspects you all know and shared but in the negative aspects, you all missed a point. Nowadays there is a competition whose posts are far better than others causing huge fan followers and this often leads to expressing low testament which cuts of our nose. Also, blackmailers take a chance of our passive minds to get us ruined. So, it's our duty to limit and to remain alert while using social networking sites.

The majority of people use those tools just for entertainment and time-wasting purposes just doing Instagram reel feeds. Searching prohibited sites destroys mental health which is not good for society. Some people use those sites to spread wrong news, and information and drive society in the wrong way just for their greed fulfil.
