Hello guys. I am glad to participate in the discussion. In my opinion, the impact of social media can vary from person to person.

There are positive and negative aspects of social media. Here, some of the members discussed the advantages of social media. And I want to add some points of the disadvantages of social media.

There are several disadvantages of social media like there is a feature of Advertisement. This is can be also a negative point because I have my example that whenever I am using, for example, YouTube there some Ads run in between the videos or anything sometimes we click on that ad so we diverted from real content like that there are so many drawbacks of Social media or in real life there are so many diverting part but we should careful about the Positive and negative of the thing than we should decide where we want to go.

So, talking about social media which is becoming an important part of our life. As we know social media has many benefits if we use it correctly. We can start advertising our business, also we can search for jobs. If anything happens wrong in society people will support it by posting it on social media and giving their opinion against that.

With the positive points if people use it in the wrong way then social media can become a negative thing for them. Such as people are wasting their time on Facebook and Instagram by scrolling reels. Also, they will share their personal information so it can become dangerous for them. There is no guarantee of security so many people will face abuse and fraud problems.

Lastly, I want to say that social media should be controlled by people, not people should be controlled by social media.

Social networking sites have become an integral part of our day-to-day life. This is because of the amount of information that we get through social media. Even if we are not doing anything we are scrolling Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and by scrolling only we get to know about many a thing that is happening nowadays. Not only current affairs but also knowledge regarding the latest technologies and inventions. But everything has two sides and so do social networking sites.

Nowadays, nudity and sexual content have become very easily accessible which is destroying young minds. Also, unknowingly we spend a lot of time on irrelevant content present on Instagram and fb which is only wasting our time and energy.

So, we should have the ability to distinguish between the contents that are available on SN sites and spend our time wisely.

I would say that there is too much impact of social media in terms of good as well as bad.

So, firstly I am going to start with the good impacts of social networks which are several most important one is with the help of social media we can connect with any person anytime without thinking about anything whether he/she lives near to us or very far away and also social sites provide platform whether people can make their content and share that among all the people and even they can earn money too along with that we can also study online and take education just by living in the hometown and we do not need to go anywhere and no need to take any expensive institute too and in the other hands there is bad impact too mainly which is wasting our entire day just by scrolling something which has no sense and some people also use for scam people.

As we know with the help of newspaper we are able to get the information and also the radio and now just social media.

Most of the people are away from the home just like for studyingredients and job and also our are Souldires theyou are ablessed to do face face communication with their family.

The bad impact is that everyone is busy with the mobile they us the mobile till late night and they are not like talk with their parents and family member and because of that crime is also increase.

Yes, in my point of view, social media is impacting every thought.

I'll explain this with one point i.e, if you are willing to purchase one particular product, you will go through the review given by the promoters.
Even if you don't know anything about the products, you saw the ads or promotional videos on TV or some other social media application.
You will be influenced by those videos, and you are willing to buy those products.
Here, we can easily get to know how a person easily changes their own thoughts.
Decision. And how one video let them to change their own thoughts even if it is fake or true.
So, we have to be more aware of these social networking sites, not everything is true, even not always fake.

In my opinion, anything done in excess leads to negative results. Similarly, social media is a very good tool to stay connected with our loved ones, friends and family. In the old days, there were very limited means to stay connected with friends we met in different cities. Also, we get so much information and day-to-day help using social media. It also provides a means to find your life partner which was not available in earlier days and options were very much limited.

If we talk about cons, then yes fraudulent activities have increased as it is easier to cheat someone online rather than in-person. Since all the information is stored online, people try to misuse it at times.

As a bottom line, I would like to say that if used carefully and under proper guidance social media is a boon otherwise it's a curse.

Yeah, Social media has no positives or negatives.

For some people, it is a source of earnings or a career whereas for some it's a huge distraction from life scrolling social media is killing time which may can be utilised for better things than constant dopamine shots make us stick to it.

And can you imagine how bad it is then imagine that a person scroll for 1 hr then their maybe almost 100 reels or shorts consumed every content has it own emotions some make sad some make happy some gives adrenaline rush some gives anxiety or thoughts of depression.

Like these platforms have the capability to switch our moods in a few seconds.

So considering all the positives and negatives the individual must have the sense to use social media and find out what's good for them and for their growth not just to kill time.

Before starting, we must know what social media networking. Yes, you get that right - these are YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook.

In my opinion, social media is all about how the person uses it. It is an excellent source to gain knowledge about anything in the universe. Nowadays, it plays a crucial role in business, connects people and their thoughts, and all the Essential events and news. But the dark side of this is addiction. Already, most of people have an addiction to something like alcohol or drugs, but the most common addiction which prevalent among us is social media. We do scrolling without our consciousness sometimes. In conclusion, the conscious use of social media for good is most welcome.

The impact of social networking is not bad — it depends on how we use these sites, either with a good mind or a careless one.

Many of us are making money through these platforms, while some people just keep scrolling through pages while sitting on the sofa. These social networking sites are becoming a part of our lives.

Now we study through online platforms and learn new skills — we even learn cooking from them. For example, a mother cooks delicious food for us every day but she doesn’t upload videos or make money from it. On the other hand, some mothers cook for their families, record the process, upload the videos on social media, gain subscribers, likes, shares, and comments, and eventually start earning.

In short, we need to overcome our laziness so we can also understand the real use of social media.
