I am Sanjay, and I would like to share my thoughts about the impact of social networking sites.

In my opinion, social media can be very helpful these days, especially for learning and finding job opportunities. Many students can discover their career paths through it. It’s a great tool for students to find jobs and internships, and to network with others easily.

However, not all students have the same mindset. Some students struggle with social media distractions, like spending the whole day watching Instagram reels, which is called mindless scrolling. This can cause a loss of concentration for other important activities like studying or playing outside with friends.

Social media has two sides—good and bad. Which side affects you depends on your mindset as a user.

Social media is playing one of an important role in our lives. It provides connectivity to people, to people, not only those people who are nearby us but also those people who are very far from us. It's easily connected and it is one of the beneficiary tools to showcase our talent. Because when I post something on social media, it is seen by the whole world, not by one city or one state. With the help of social media we can achieve easily what we want to achieve because it makes a path very easy by providing such a bigger platform but wait when something has a merit then at the same time it also has a demerit and one of the biggest demerit of it by using this platform some notorious people can also spread the fake or misleading news and innocent people have easily trust on that.

As we all know that everything has it's good and evil side. So does social networking sites too.

It totally depends on the way we want to use these sites as they were basically created to connect people. Using these platforms people can raise their voice against a lot of things. As we all know the #metoo campaign was also started at these sites only which was a great step towards women empowerment where the women can freely speak about the harassment they have been gone through.

And these sites can be used to share some important information related to jobs, current affairs.

But nowadays the use of these sites has increased in spreading hatred towards any religion, community. Fake news created over these platforms is being used to demonise people reputation.

According to my perspective, there are always two sides of these things.

First, we see the positive side that because of using social media we can easily connect with people whether they are near us or live in abroad. Also on our every problem, we get quick solutions by using social media. Basically now more things are easier in our day to day activity by using this.

But if we look in negative way so it's true there are more drawback which impacts on our life by just investing more time in scrolling other social apps, looking unusual and not useful thing on social sites. Sometimes social sites are very harmful for us when posting our personal information, photos and other things.

We conclude that it's completely up to you how to use the social networking.

Like every innovation, social networking sites also depend on the users, who are using those, in case of pros and cons. These sites have both beneficial as well as destructive impacts on the people. On one hand, it provides us with connections, information, and knowledge about our surroundings, helps us to increase our network, and is one the most efficient tools of marketing and sales also, it can influence an introvert to share his or her thoughts and get recognised.

On the other hand, we have seen people getting cheated by these sites, tricked by different false information, and also facing depression, anxiety, and dissatisfaction due to comparing themselves continuously with others, so in the end it's always the users who are using it, and of course, it's an innovation.

Social networking size has some advantages and some disadvantages.

In my point view, I would to share some thoughts;

Advantages
1) We get to know the information of all over the world from the pages which get created on that sites.
2) We can get connected to people all over the world or we can share our thoughts with each other.

Disadvantage:
1) When we the social sites we have to take care of what we have to use it time to time otherwise we will get addicted to it.
2) Addiction of social sites also affect our health.
3) It will also make a big defective impact on our eyes.
4) Some social sites don't have restrictions so they can put any content on their sites that will make a big impact on our thinking process.
5) That type of content is not good for children as well.

Social media is a double-edged sword, if not used properly It can be dangerous, but the wheel has already been invented. We cannot go back. We have to build upon it and we have to consider the worst-case scenarios and the best-case scenario. I have a very pragmatic view on this particular social media because I have been researching this for the last 4 years in my point of view.

Social media should be monitored closely and The power that social media apps have today is enormous. It should be controlled and monitored. And monitored and the privacy part. It is a myth. You have to understand that social media is good, but it is ingrained in our lives to such an extent that it is impossible now to remove it completely. We can only monitor it, but not completely remove it.

So it is necessary to use social media with consciousness and awareness. We all know about the pros of social media but it is necessary to discuss the cons of social media networking. Social media provide better connectivity with people but one major problem with it is the lack of connectivity at ground level, people are so busy on their social media that they forget about real issues,

One major issue with social media networking is fear of missing out every one is busy in showing their life beautiful instead of making it beautiful at ground level, show off became much prominent because of social media networking. It raise many sociological issue.

I believe social networking sites have transformed the way we connect, learn and grow; they have built the distance between friends, family and professionals across the globe. These platforms provide great opportunities for knowledge sharing and gaining, skill development and getting interactive in many new communities, special in varied purposes. They also play a role in career growth through webinars, tutorials and networking communities. However, we cannot ignore the downsides like addiction, misinformation and other health issues caused by overuse. In my opinion, the real impact of social networking sites depends on how mindfully we use them; if we set certain boundaries, they can be a powerful source for positive changes in our personal and professional growth.
