Do Women make Good Managers?

Women's have always proved that they are multi-taskers and are very keen learners. If women can handle her daily household chaos then I believe that she can manage and achieve whatever she wants. Many great examples of women have mentioned above and there are some more like Sakshi Malik and PV Sindhu who brought bronze and silver medal to India.

It is not necessary that women are the best manager. We take the example of boy student living far from his parents for study, they have limited amount of money and they manage it for a whole month even they manage their time table for study, to cook food, to play and so on. It generally depends on effort applied.

Not a men and women.

Hi everyone. In my point of view, both men & women are good managers. This is depending on us.

Suppose we have to take a situation in a family if they have any problem both have equal priority to solve the problem. In that immediately who responded the situation & who think firstly how we have to overcome the problem that depends upon their understanding & commitment.

Someone said "Gender is not factor to determine the managerial capacity", the why the numbers (there are only 2% women CEO) suggest otherwise, don't tell me men dominate, its the law of nature that the fittest dominate, and if you say men dominate then what you really mean is that men dominate.

@ "Now scenario has changed" - the present women make less than 20% of top managerial position in spite of all reservation and special treatment, and if what you mean is that in future women will outnumber men, then come to me when that happen,

@ "Women are more balanced and loving" - really never heard of buddha, jesus, or vivrkananda, name a women who have done it better,

@ "Women manage home and office" - well what can I say to that, good luck with that,

@ "Women list is endless, don't underestimate them" - nobody is underestimating the, but you should come and see the men's list its much bigger.

@ "Both have same brains" - then why such a big disparity in accomplishment.

@ "Prathiba patil, ekata kapoor and other names that I not heard" - really those are best names you have got, can you even compare those names with gandhi, edison, steve jobs or alexander.

Woman is the most beautiful creation of god. She has the power to take tough decisions better than a man as she is well organised and can keep everything in order. So indeed a woman can take better take decision hen man as she has the caliber to handle the position of a manager very well and effectively.

I think both are same in achieving the goal. If anyone wants something then he or she must possess managerial quality.

We say that women are good managers because they can do any work with as compared to men. The patience and confidentiality are more important to get successful in life but men as patients. So they can manage the work, with some self-respect to serve their profession.

Yes, women can also be a good manager because women's are also developing their communication skills, equal to men, then how can we say that women's are not fit for managers.

Women are better than men because they have more patients than men. They work hard well.

My opinion was Men only make good managers, but it was proved wrong already if we take examples of Indira Gandhi, Pepsico CEO Indira Nooyi, ICICI CEO Chanda Kochar. They were and are hold good positions and proved themselves. Management doesn't available in books. It came with outside knowledge, So I thought men only can do it better, but now a days system has changed women also having equal IQ as men, so women also can do it better.

We can also take example of Jayalalita who has developed Tamil Nadu better than any male chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Now it is the most urbanized state in south India. So women are managing better than now a days.
