Do Women make Good Managers?

My opinion was Men only make good managers, but it was proved wrong already if we take examples of Indira Gandhi, Pepsico CEO Indira Nooyi, ICICI CEO Chanda Kochar. They were and are hold good positions and proved themselves. Management doesn't available in books. It came with outside knowledge, So I thought men only can do it better, but now a days system has changed women also having equal IQ as men, so women also can do it better.

We can also take example of Jayalalita who has developed Tamil Nadu better than any male chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Now it is the most urbanized state in south India. So women are managing better than now a days.

In my opinion men and women manager are not different. However the difference is about their qualities and their skills (technical, human and conceptual skill). I think a good manager is required to create a good environment with their sub-ordinate and perform their job effectively and efficiently.

I am in favor of this topic. Yes, women make a good manger. Gender inequality should not be included in this. According to a survey, women are fast learners and multitaskers because they use their right brains of this. And women have the power to change their weaknesses into strengths. Women are more responsible and punctual then men. Women encourage openness, women are more better in empowering staff. I would like to conclude women are good managers if they have given the opportunity.

Hi guys, in my point of view women's are good managers than men's because women's have a good communication skill.

Hello friends I know that to become a manager is not a cake walk but its also not depend upon gender. Its depend upon ability and skills. And I agree that a woman should be a good manager.

Educating women can bring up great changes in a country like India because if women are educated they can change the world as they will not be dependent on their husband's for buying anything as women will be earning in the highly qualified company.

Manager based the quality, skill, personality, attitude, behavior, this are the managed base eligible quality. Otherwise not choosing men and women. Yes, I agree women are good managers. Gender is not important & all are equal. Women working in every sector like medicine, police, teachers etc. And every type of knowledge and skill is there. The company does not see gender they choose the perfect person for the perfect place and utilize their idea. A manager is the leader of a company. Leaders mean problem-solving, good communication and hard working.

Ya I agree, women are the best managers. As there are many examples it will take plenty of time to take their name. So keeping it aside. Talking about their work doing ability, sense of humor. And many more things make them best.

From the ancient time people underestimate women and think them as a machine for all of their household works. They were categorized in the line of animals as you know the lines of Tulsidas.

According to my opinion women are best managers. Do not go far for the example but see in your own house how your mother, sister or wife manages in those situations when you are confused what to do and for more information about women's capability you must read history of India and you must have a friendly mentality about women too.
