Can we dream of hosting the Olympics?

Yes, we can dream of hosting the Olympics. But in future, not now. Because in current scenario there is more unemployment, illiteracy, poverty, health issues etc. So first government should focus on these things after that government of India can dream about Olympics. So whatever the funds are there with the government first they have to use it for unemployment etc. But to conduct Olympics there should be a good infrastructure and all. In our country only for cricket and hockey, the good infrastructure is there. But for remaining games, there is no best infrastructure available. To accommodate the athletes and the international people there should be a best hotels etc. So India should construct infrastructures first.

The advantages of hosting Olympics is.

1) international recognition to our country.
2) if our country media will give broadcast to international media then we can get our money back.
3) India will become the best tourism place i.e 4.
We can showcase our country's different cultures and traditions tho foreigners.
4) more investments will come to India.

I think it's a great idea that we can dream Olympics in our country but now it is not possible. Because now the economical condition of our country is not that much well. So I think the fulfillment of demands of people over the country should be the first priority.

When the country looks healthy so I think that would be the best time to conduct such events.

Hosting an event like the Olympics require great investment and planning from our country's side taking account of our countries situation. But its not an impossible thing. See, its so amazing that we 've got 69 medals in this Asian games signifying that we have an amazing panel of athletes. Though we 've no scope of hosting Olympics in the near future it is possible by a tactic planning.

It's inevitable that we should honour our champions. But in my point of view instead of granting them crores, that money could be funded for this dream. Further, constructing stadiums should be greatly entertained so that we'll have a number of upcoming athletes. Giving them much better training would bring us great achievements in the future and gradually there will be more to aspire and realise this very dream of hosting the Olympics in our country.

Yes, we dream of hosting the Olympics because India is very developing country. India has the ability to do Anything. Yes, it is true, some disadvantage of hosting the Olympic but it's not meaning India not hosting the Olympics. Corruption in every country we do not say only India is very corrupt. Apj Abdul Kalam says that we are not criticizing government we are the youth of Indians and have an ability of youth change the world. Don't stop dreaming. I believe that very soon India is a safe the position with the very fast developed country. So I am saying that we can dream of hosting the Olympics.

India is a devloping country and I think we are not ready to hosting the olympics because olyampic is an international event and for hosting these types of events we have to invest lot of money. I know by these events we make our presence in the global but firstly we have to work on our people for give them a better future. I have a trust after some time we are capable to hosting these events.

Yes, India can host Olympic games in the future. As we all know the hosts are already decided till 2028 so India may bid for the editions after that. Till that time our per capita income would have increased considerably, GDP would have increased and we have already showed this year that we can be good hosts. No country is corruption free but it's events like this bring joy, wealth and International recognition to a Nation. 2032 is still far away and we can dream of hosting Olympic games around then. Our way of thinking towards our nation could have changed by that time. We have organised every international sports event successfully. Yes a lot need to be done in that regard but yes it is an achievable dream.

The preparation for the games are looked after by the Olympics committee and there is very less government intervention in decision making so games management and infrastructure can be put in place in time. If our economy can withstand demonetisation and the 2008 recession then I think we can bare the burden of hosting Olympic games. So many jobs would be created, world class infrastructure would come up. That will benefit us only. Commonwealth stadiums in New Delhi organise events throughout the year.

So yes, India can dream of hosting Olympic games.

Every country has a dream to host Olympic but to make it possible it must to give an outstanding performance in Olympics. In that case, we are lacking behind so we should not discuss hosting of Olympic we should discuss our performance. If we increase our performance and continuously give a good result in Olympic, then it is sure that a day will come when we will host Olympic.

I really don't know if India is really into hosting Olympic. For all the average Indians cricket is still there 'National Game'. Of course launch of ISL has indeed increased the popularity and love for football among us. We don't have much interest or top training centers for Olympic events. So there would still be a little long time for us to host Olympics.

As India is a democratic country there would a lots of critics for hosting Olympics. They would prefer to settle other internal concerns of India before hosting an Olympic.

On a positive note if India hosts Olympic, It would mark a historic and transitional period for India in the minds of other countries. Olympics would be much more considered in Asia with India hosting it. Hosting Olympics would also prove our capabilities and also make us on of the strongest nation inside the mind of foreigners.

So as dream has no limits. I really wish and pray the my INDIA also hosts Olympics in near by future.

Yes, we can dream of hosting the Olympics but not anytime soon. As we know India is a developing country and hosting Olympics would require a lot of money, time, manpower, infrastructure etc. Right now this money could be used for more pressing economic concerns such as poverty. Right now the government should be using this money for the better development of this country. The government should use its sources to address certain other major issues such as corruption, illiteracy, poverty, providing basic hygienic conditions to its people etc. In the end I would to like to conclude by saying that YES we can dream of hosting the olympics but dreams don't work unless we do. So first the government should work to eradicate corruption, poverty and illiteracy from this country and then we might be able to host the Olympics in the distant future.

Well, being considering the current scenario in our country, I think hosting Olympics is like a tough stuff for us as we are lacking behind in our basic requirements of employment, education, illiteracy, providing the necessary and building block of life such as food, electricity to villages. And hosting of Olympics requires a lot of part of investment for that we are not in position. Secondly, people here are crazy for Cricket, they don't even know about the other sports and their rules and regulation hence hosting Olympics is worthless. So first we have to encourage the other sports and sportsman in that field.
