Can we dream of hosting the Olympics?

According to my views, of course, India can dream hosting the Olympics, India is a progressing very fast now and Government is trying to make India good and efficient in every aspect. So hosting Olympics will be good opportunity for us to show the people around the world the development of our country and introduce them our diverse culture. Recently India hosted U-19 FIFA world cup which was great success for India as host country. So hosting the Olympics is about proving the world our efficiency in hosting the big events. It will also create great patriotic feeling in our citizens in welcoming the guest and audience around the world. And also it will encourage the Indian players to play for country. So in my views, we can definitely dream of hosting Olympics.

Yes, India can host Olympics but not now. Because it is a large economical debt for India. As we have seen in past that countries or cities who hosted Olympics it will railout economy 5 year's back. We don't have infrastructure to host Olympics. In our country have lots of corruption as we have seen in common wealth. Security is not superior to control that much population. It will railout out economy also. We don't have that much resources to acomodate large spectators.

Let me precise to the point yes India can dream of conducting Olympics because is one the largest economy and then sports in India is now in a developmental state and the interest of conducting Olympics has been diminishing in all other countries because of the expenditures caused by the Olympics but when we conduct Olympics it will not only improve our sports but also tourism in India.

Every coin has two sides likewise conducting Olympics may lead to excess outlay due to Olympics and it requires more space to conduct the events so with the right plan we can conduct Olympics.

Olympics is more than just a great business, it is representing the nation on global level. It's a matter of pride for every country. It promotes sport, tourism and foreign investment by showcasing country's culture and heritage.

Over the past few years, our country has shown an exponential growth in sports and this would promote worldwide interaction.

India has a vast amount of land resources and can provide great varieties of arenas to compete.

With current growth in rate of GDP, our country is an exciting prospect for organisers.

AGAINST.

For our country, with this alarming amount of poverty and illiteracy, sending a big chunk of financial money for Olympics seems like a luxury we can't afford as of now.

The risk of security can't be neglected.

Demonetization has made it extremely difficult to conduct proper financial exchange for individual tourists.

There are lots of difficulties to host the Olympics, in India. The points are that -

(1) To host an Olympics should have proper infrastructure, economically support etc. As I, think 15-16 billion dollar must be available in hosting Olympics.

(2) There are 205 countries are take part in biggest field. So, there a lot of dressing room, playground, support stuff must available. But our country does not arrange these proper ways due to mix management.

(3) Corruption is one of the most important think. As we all know 2010, Commonwealth games where 71 countries were took parts. But there are lots of corruption are done, basic infrastructure was very weak. Number of people are also involved but they are also corrupted which is proofed.

(4) Security are also important. We never forget 25/11, terrorism activities.

(5) Our country also do not focus on athlete, they are not trained properly. As a result, our infrastructure, sports management are weak.

(6) We only focus some games. I.E. Cricket But not others game properly. I think investment should be done in grass wood level. At last, security, infrastructure, sports management, coaching stuff should be appointed by government. And corruption must eradicate from society. If we do these I, think in future we can host the Olympics.

Well, I think for such a fastest growing economy like India, such kind of events is no more dreams. We can definitely host Olympics efficiently. But before taking the onus of organizing such an event, the government first pay attention for providing world class training and equipment to our players so that they feel motivated and make our country proud by winning lots of medals rather than complaining that they even didn't get proper medicine if they got hurt while playing. Corruption and nepotism have plagued our country so badly that we need to eradicate that disease completely before organizing such a world class events. Our country has no lack of talent. But what we need is the proper system that promotes and help our youths in improving their skills efficiently.

i.e If India can believe in hosting Olympic games then it can be true in reality not suddenly but certainly.

The countries, which host this event, are developed already but our nation is still developing & growing. We are not economically very strong that we can host this event right now. India has to be corruption free, terror safe & financially very much healthy. I won't talk about Commonwealth games (2010, India) & its drawbacks because it was our darkest past. We are now looking for our brightest future. Yes, we can think of hosting this mega event. For this, we need to well infrastructure, huge fund & facilities. India needs to internally and externally safe & secured nation from a terrorist point of view. Almost 200 nations & thousands of athletes will participate so we have to take care of them.

Dreaming is good & if we can be social, economically, mentally developed then in next 20-30 years, India will jump one step globally by hosting Olympic games.

Yes, of course, we can dream of hosting Olympics. It's a great honor of any country to host such a big level event.

By hosting Olympics we will grab the attention of other countries and increase tourist in our country.

We should focus on others sports other than cricket. This will give great exposure to others sports and athletics. This will create awareness among Indian to focus on sports and participate in such events. It will motivate people to participate in sports events.

By hosting Olympics different people will get to know our country's culture.

But right know Indian government need to focus on infrastructure and provide all facilities. The Government need to create awareness so that more people participate in sports. Also, eradicate the unemployment and give all the facilities to everyone.

Also by hosting Olympics, Indian media will cover all events and show it internationally.

India needs some more year to overcome all the problems. Then we can surely host Olympics.

No, if we invite the other countries we must have better arrangements for them and as our political conditions are not stable, it is not possible to conduct olympics. If we talk about commonwealth games 2010 there was a huge corruption of about 900 million, and many were arrested. This totally brings down our country's image. We have other major problems also on which we have to look for.

We are feeling proud as India's become my fifth largest economy now India's population is the world's highest but the world's biggest economy is the US we live in a country where 30% of the population lives below the poverty line and we are spending money on the hosting of Olympic games we must we must prioritise the well being of those currently suffering from poverty in India. Daily many people die from hunger in India also there is a lack of facilities in the rural areas in the healthcare education sector so we must improve the conditions.

Definitely, we are the fastest growing economy but are per capita income is still very low we have a huge mighty population of 1.4 billion people but we have having economy of only four trillion dollars the USA has a population of only 35 million has an economy of 25 trillion dollar isn't it a same on our country that we are spending money on Olympics.
