Can we dream of hosting the Olympics?

Hi friends, I would like to share some of my views regarding hosting Olympics in INDIA.

Of course, we can dream of hosting Olympics in our country, but the main problem is our country's economic status. We need to improve a lot. Olympics is a world wide game, definitely, people will expect a better hospitality and better accommodations with proper facilities. Not only the participants we need to satisfy the people coming across the world to watch it. So there is a need for a good infrastructure and high-class facilities for them. I am not under estimating our country as it is poor or doesn't have many facilities, but m saying that we really need to improve a lot and work hard to show our country's power in a global level. Then only we will be noticed and will get an opportunity to serve them.

Yes, we can definitely dream of hosting Olympics but after dealing with following issues-.

1) corruption - we all have seen bizarre of common wealth games 2010.

2) Security issues - we often face such security breaches but we can not afford to risk the lives of more than 25000 delegates, spirts person etc.

3) Finance - we do not have billions to waste on such event. Every year there is deficit in income & exp statement of India so can't waste money.

Ps- we can not eat fame. Instead of wasting 10 billion on such event for getting so called fame, invest & utilize that money for building infrastructure, promoting education & making employment opportunities. So that we can become developed country & then do whatever you want.

Yes, we can. But this is not the right time. Since India is in a developing stage. And as we all know it will need huge investment. If we are not going to host the Olympics then any country can host it. But unemployment, poverty, education are the major problems that should be focused by govt because this is to be done for our nation. Nation's development is more important rather than hosting olympics.

I don't think we can host Olympics in future. To host such a large event, our country must be proficient enough in resources. In our country, the main focus is on Cricket only which is not even a part of Olympics. We do not have facilities for other games to host so many countries. India was successful in hosting Commonwealth games in which only 53 countries participate but it does not have the capacity to host Olympics & which 117 countries participate. If we start planning now, we may be able to host Olympics after at least 10-15 years.

Yes, it's true that hosting the Olympics is just a dream for India. Of course, we have a lot of benefits if such kind of event happens in India. But every coin has two sides. The major problem with India is corruption. If we talk about common wealth games then they spend 195 crores for time equipment. All the firms those are offering the equipment and services at lesser cost were rejected. Actually, in India, everybody wants benefits of their relatives their loved ones they don't care about the country. India gets ashamed at international level for such kind of act. Athletes were ready but the equipment was not there.

In my personal opinion, first, we need to tackle these issues. We need to find the solution for these kinds of things. Today what is dream tomorrow we will host that dream. We have potential to do everything but first, try to figure out the problems and their solutions. Everybody wants his/her nation at the top of the world. At the time of common wealth games, a bridge collapse near Jawahar Laal Nehru stadium our Indian army rebuilt that bridge within two weeks. It's amazing job done by our army. Every where there is corrupt people as well as good people. If we start our preparation today then definitely we one day we will be the host of Olympics.

Yes. India is capable of hosting Olympics. We have already hosted many global events successfully like CWG in 2010, latest FIFA U-19 world cup, ICC Cricket world cup, etc. Government is also paying attention towards the development of sports infrastructure and sports culture by initiating events like PKL, khelo-India, ICL, etc.

We still need to separate/remove politics, scams and corruption from sports before bidding for Olympics. It will help boost India's image as sports loving country.

Yes, we can dream one day but not right now. Dreaming and making it a reality is two different thing. Last time in Rio Olympics we had seen that Brazil was in no position to host an Olympic due to its internal politics which becomes a problem for athletes, which ultimately hampers Brazil 's name.

So, In order to organise Olympics, first, we have to focus on infrastructure for games like boat racing, golf etc. , we had to make sure our political system is stable, the opposition is supporting the rural parties and coordinated efforts from every will make it possible and India is capable of organising such events. In past India had organised commonwealth, ICC world cup, FIFA u17 world cup, so it can also organise Olympics, All we have to do is a coordinated effort from everyone and keep it free from corruption. And we can surely achieve this.

India has a bright future ahead since it has a vast pool of raw talent ready to be nirtured. The Olympics is not only to display this talent at world level to make his country, they will make them proud and gives enthusiastic.

But we don't invest on the olympics because our country is still developing country. First, we have to give water to drink and to survive in this world. The coordination is must to win this world. Corruption is another reason. Here rich one becoming more rich and poor one becoming poorer. When we eliminate these we are the no1 country in this world.

Not only Olympics but also do anything and everything.

Right now we can't dream of hosting the Olympic, it's not the right time as well. We all are dreaming of hosting the Olympic in spite of seeing our status or past performance in the Olympic, we guys expect a lot from our participants but no one have ever thought how much difficult it would be for the participants to practised in India where there are no proper arena for their practices, they even don't have money for their proper diets, so how they will be able to win medals for their nation. So, in my opinion, it would be better for our nation to support our athletes by providing proper arena for their practices and to provide money for their hard work and diet in spite of wasting a big amount in dreaming or planning of hosting the Olympic.

Olympics, as we all know it is the biggest event in the world. It is an honor for a country to host an Olympic.

According to me, India should dream of hosting the Olympics because India has all the facilities like Hospitality, security, infrastructure and so other many things which are required to host such event. But, also there is a big concern of corruption as, In India, people are involved in corruption at large scale because of which most of the people have to suffer a lot and not able to live a proper life and to get an education. Yes, we can host an Olympics no doubt, but first of all, we have to make our country corruption free which will help in economic growth also.
