Can we dream of hosting the Olympics?

Yes, Of Course, India can host Olympics but we need a good quality of playgrounds and facility for the sportsperson so that we can encourage players other than India to come here not as in commonwealth games 2010 or Asia games where many players refuse to come because of the pollution and not sufficient facility available. So, First increase availability and improve the facility, After that we can think of hosting.

India has people and quality to work on this and we can do it.

It is very pride moment for us that India hosts the Olympic games but now our country is not developed enough that we host Olympic games.

If we hosted the Olympic games our country will back 5 years and our economy will down.

So now we not suitable to host the Olympic games.

In my opinion, hosting olympics will be a dream come true for most of the youths and sportspersons. Hosting olympics will encourage them as a sportsperson try to give his/her best performance on his own soil.

It will also attract more and more youths and their parents towards sport as they will then start thinking about scope in sports.

I conclude that hosting olympics will have a positive impact on the citizens and our country's name will also rise in field of sports.

Certainly, if India hosts Olympics it is not only matter of pride and fame as one of my friends said it will result in to improvement till grass root level. Indian players will get opportunities as hosting nation needn't qualify.

The 2-only need is to ensure a good backup to players and a board for every game being ensured as BCCI.

Doing Away with corruption, encouraging youths for participation and better coaching will make India capable enough for hosting Olympics.

Yes, India has the potential to organise such a big events. But before that, we need to improve our infrastructure, transportation facilities, security facilities. The biggest drawback in India is corruption that's why hosting Olympic is just a dream for us. Here is not so much good platform for every field and due to the lack of opportunity many good sportsperson are unable to win medals for us. I would start with nothing can be achieved without first dreaming about it. So we can and we should dream about hosting Olympics.

When we hosted Commonwealth Games in 2010 the performance of Indian players was very good. The Number of medals was unprecedented.

It motivates people.

It brings sports culture.

We all can agree the sports infrastructure is very needed as we can see out recent performance in Olympics.

The hosting would be a great boost to infrastructure. And participation would definitely improve.

Plus one point we are not considering is that it brings huge employment to people where sports are hosted. Tourism is improved. These two are very crucial to the current economy of India.

Yes, we believe that there are some issues like the lack of funds as some of my friends have mentioned but the benefits are high as well. We can afford one-time payment and this would contribute to revenues as well in long run.

Yes, because we can dream anything. But it's not necessary that we can fulfill our every dream. As of now, we cannot say that India can honestly host Olympics due to its dirty politics. As we can be seen in common wealth game 2010, how much the Indian politics affects the event. Here I admit that India has an ability to host the Olympics but as we know one One Bad Apple Spoils The Whole Barrel. In a similar way, a single corrupt person can change the whole game which we already have seen in Common Wealth Games 2010. To remove this discrepancy we first must remove the corruption from our country.

We should but not now. Since there are many problems are to be solved by India like poverty, cleanliness, corruption, population, unemployment for youngsters. Also, peoples in India are still deprived of basic needs. Also, the environmental issues are there. Still, in India government doesn't focus much on good training for other sports other than cricket. We first encourage other sports in India. Also, corruption in sports organization should be stopped. Then only India could dream of Olympics in a better way!

Yes, definitely but it will take some time. In the recent times India is showing a remarkable transform among the developing nations and is growing day by day.

Conducting an international event like Olympics will definitely help our nation to set a mark among the superpowers.

It will introduce new opportunities in the field of employment and infrastructure and will attract foreign companies to invest funds (like sponsors).

And it will be an encouragement for our athletes too. They will get international facilities and training to boost themselves up.

Notably we had done achievements recently by hosting commonwealth games and other events like IPL, ISL etc which are quite successful and has helped our nation to meet international facilities.

But one suggestion I would say is prior to hosting such a big event India should continuously try to host other major sports events like commonwealth games, asian games and this will surely help in improving the infrastructure and facilities we offer and will make more confident to host the biggest sports event in the world.

It depends on 3 major factors.

1. Is India is safe country - yes India is safe country.

2. India is having enough popularity for every game - yes indians are crazy about every game.

3. Economic:

This is only but major problem tht India have. Until or unless the things lyk corruption nd other connected things which affecting the economic of country is nt uprooted. It is nt stupidity to hav olympics in India. Because food for the people who doesnt hav it is way more important than the olympics for India.
