Can we dream of hosting the Olympics?

First of all, we need to know what is Olympics, It's a event began over 2700 years ago in Olympia, in the southwest Greece. The game was a part of the religious festival, it was staged in every 4 years Olympia, a valley near a city called Elis, People from all over the Greece world came to watch and take part.

India isn't ready to host any big event other than cricket and Hockey, as the infrastructure for this two games has been already there in the country, and if India needs to organize Olympic event then firstly it needs to improve the quality of infrastructure for the events. Secondly, India has to accommodate the international players who will come to participate in the event, so India needs many more hotels and infrastructures to serve them. Thirdly, as India would host the event, it will be shameful for India to get a very less number of participants in the Olympics, so the athletes need to be taken care of and inspired to get selected for the Olympics.

I ask why not? This may be seen as an opportunity to show the world that we are good enough though there is one big problem- corruption. At such a stage if the world knows about a big scam, it will really put a stain on our reputation. Discipline must be exercised in conducting such an event and for this, trustworthy and honest people must be put into practice. If we are given a chance we should make the most of it.

India should organize the Olympic these are the word which can allow any Indian to proud on his country, but my friend be practical in our country except for the badminton, hockey, weightlifting are the few Olympic games in which India won medal there is a large number of the games in which India does not qualified and no medal won yet. So, before hosting the Olympic, India should train their Olympic army so that it can increase its medal.

Yes, India should host the Olympics as there are many advantages of hosting the Olympics many sports which are not so popular like cricket will get promoted. Through the Olympics, India can also increase its soft power in the world, and tourism industries will also grow as we can attract foreigners through our diverse culture, historical monuments, and landscapes. The most important thing is it increases employment.

At last, I think we should not miss any chance to host the Olympics as it helps to achieve India its dream.

Hosting of events such as Olympics is a dream for every country. It fetches the attention of the world and boosts the hospitality and tourism industry which ultimately becomes beneficial to economy. But hosting of Olympics demands world class infrastructure with huge investment in sports centers, roads, hotels, stadiums and highways. Although ours is a third largest economy of Asia, we are lagging behind in these respect. Further given the existing poverty and other social and economic reasons we are not able to invest much on these items. Lastly, our dismal performance in sports doesn't allow us to go for such a mega event. Finally, we can't dream of hosting the Olympics.

Yes, we not only dream we can organize Olympics in our country as we have organised commonwealth in 2010, south Asian games in 2016 also this year we are organizing FIFA U17 World cup. We are population of 125 cr approx 20% of world all our youth are crazy for sports so we can organize this event with full energy and support. As we know that in our country sports man does not get good facilities for sports everywhere and also lack of ground and coaches in India. By organizing olympics in our country we can have new grounds, kits, coachs etc which definitly support our sports person after event. Also as we are compiting with developed countries in many like space, defence etc. We can include sports also in the list by this event.

We can think of hosting the Olympics. After each and every common man feels happy if they get a proper basic infrastructure. Because in our country, there are millions of people living in below poverty line, millions of youth are facing job problems, the number of farmers are going for suicide due to lack of support from govt etc. So, I finally suggest that investing a money for Olymics for one month, we can invest that same money in providing basic infrastructure so that we can save and see the number of peoples living happy.

Before deciding anything about the dream of hosting a huge event like Olympics, we should first look at its pros and cons. Either it will benefit us or make a loss in which extent and terms. Let us first look at its benefits.

1) Imagine a New Delhi 3.0: India got Independence in 1947 and in 1951 we hosted the first Asian Games. It really helped a new capital city get a foothold in connecting with other countries. The second New Delhi upgrade took place during the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Here also we had new roads, flyovers, power augmentation, another Games Village, Delhi Metro work speedup and an upgrade of Indira Gandhi International Airport. One can only imagine what a third upgrade will do to New Delhi if and when it hosts the Olympics.

2) The Olympics is big business and we are ready to capitalise. Olympics are multi-billion dollar affairs. The tourism industry also gets a fillip. Millions of people visit a country for an Olympics and they will also visit other cities and give a boost to the tourism and hospitality industry.

3) A big step in becoming a sporting nation: 4. A big step in becoming a sporting nation: It is desirable to become a big sporting nation. It is very important for school and college students to participate in sports for character building and physical fitness. You can't just focus on academics. You can attract the youth for all games only if we are doing well in all the games. There is too much focus on cricket in India. It is the time we broadened the horizon.

4) We can introduce sports like cricket, Kabaddi, Kho- Kho in Olympics.

So there are many benefits of hosting the biggest festival of sports. If we can host Holly festival like KUMBH Mella where millions of people come daily, then why not Olympics. From my views, the only problem is corruption, which can degrade the quality of management and our reputation. As we have already faced it in Asian games of 2010 at Delhi. So we should try to make a bid on 2028 olympics and execute all plans effectively for global reputation.

India is one of the top developing countries in the world with maximum FDI inflows. Almost, all MNC's have their offices in India which state that we have developed from what we were ten to fifteen years back. If the country can have sports legends like Sachin Tendulkar, P. V Sindhu, Milkha Singh and numerous other on the list then, in my opinion, our country is capable of hosting the Olympics.

If we minus the scams of commonwealth then the current scenario of the country provides us with the resources of hosting Olympics. Our county country has hosted the world cup, Asian games, national games, Brics summit.

The current ministry has capable ministers to keep a proper check on the allocation of funds and hosting an international sports event like Olympics will only add to the glory of the nation. We do not need only a developed nation to host the event but a nation that can survive all odds of hosting the event. India has now upgraded itself and moved on higher rankings in all the fields. It's high time that the country should take a step ahead and initiate to host the grand event because we can do it!

Yes we can dream of hosting the Olympics, Because as we already know the strength of human beings, that is in the past we were slayers to the British Government, now we became the slayers to the our nation. Everything is Possible with a strong commitment. Whenever we reached to the zero corruption and poverty, from that day onwords our nation will be called as a developed country. Hence we sure that, a developed nation have the capability to hosting the Olympics.
