Brain drain is the loss to a country when skilled and clever people leave their country and work in other countries. It is the depletion of intellectuals or professionals resources of the country through emigration. Brain drain is common problem in developing countries. The problem is more acute in India.
1. According to United Nations Report, thousands of professionals and scientists migrate from under developing countries to high developed countries like UK, USA, Japan and European countries. They utilize their skills and serve the new country. This is the direct loss to the native country. It trains them at great cost and then loses them to the other countries.
2. There are numbers of factors responsible for brain drain in India, Firstly India lack job opportunity after completion of professional courses and training. They do not get proper employment in India. The developed countries offer job opportunity with attractive salaries. Secondly, there are no adequate lab facilities required for research. Advanced countries offer attractive lab facilities. They offer a high standard of living as well as high wages. Thirdly, we do not recognize or reward talent in our people (e.g) Hargobind Khurana could not get work in India. He left India and settled in USA. His talent was recognized there and he became a Nobel laurel. India then realize his worth.
3. India has a vast natural resources like oil, gas, coal ore minerals, precious stones, etc. These resources have to be fully developed for use these resources get neglected as there are only few experts in India. In this way brain drain is a big hindrance to India's technological development. India should frame a national policy to prevent brain drain. It should create employment opportunities, It should also arrange well equipped lab facilities. It should offer scope to non resident Indians so that they return to their motherland and work for its prosperity and advancement. In no time India would become a developed country in 2020.

As so many people said that brain drain is not good for our country because of our skilled persons and technical labour are moving to abroad. As per my knowledge that was happening because of our self it means for example when time arrives to serve our country then most of the people will accept doing their responsibilities and duties for low payment, later they might wish to work for foreign countries because of only reason that they get high amount of salary than India pays for them.
Actually Indian people are selfish they always try to be happily but they are not developing our country by their skills. By doing this we are not becoming rich they are becoming rich and more richest day by day. If we want to stop the brain drain in India then every citizen of our country must think. WE ARE ALL INDIANS AND WE ALWAYS WORK OR GIVE SERVICE TO INDIA AND MAKE INDIA A DEVELOPED COUNTRY.

In my point of view, brain drain should be stopped. India is a developing country and it needs more skilful person for its development and if this migration continues then we will not be able to change the economic condition of our country. We should have the patriotic feeling for our country. I agree that there is a lack of resources and employment opportunities but we need to face these problems and work upon it in order to make India developed country. We should apply our knowledge and skills to overcome these hurdles and this is the only way through which we can help in developing the economy of our country. So according to me, instead of being selfish and giving benefits to other countries, we should focus on developing our own country.

Brain drain is a process in which the skilled and well- educated people of one country is going to other countries for work. By doing this they develop himself but their own country is undeveloped so brain drain should be stopped.

Hello, friends, from my point of view brain drain is a serious problem to our country. Talented skilled people of our country migrate to another country which in turn leads o loss of our country. I will not blame only to the people who are migrating but our country government should address these issues so talented people don't go to another country. Our government should try to provide better opportunities to talented people for reducing migration. Every citizen of India should join their hands for development of the country and reduce corruption in the country. We should start from us in making India corruption less and clean. So my conclusion is that we should serve in their country where we born for the betterment of country and us both. Thanks.

As we all know, brain drain is the migration of the creamy and intellectual section of the population to other countries. Now a question arises. Why are people migrating?people are migrating in search of better job, pay, working environment. And most importantly to work in an environment where they are recognised and motivated for their work.
I believe brain drain should be stopped. And people should ponder over the following points.
It is this motherland that as provided with you that education for which the foreigners are hiring you today. So why not instead of going to foreign countries. We work in our own country to make it more developed.
Secondly. People who criticise our country should think what have they done for their motherland instead of going abroad.
People along with government should come together to hold hands to bring new technologies to India so that further generations should not have to travel abroad. It's only the young generation that can stop brain drain.

In my point, Brain -Drain has to be stopped because we born in India educated in India then should we go outside the country for doing job and earn money in another country as a citizen of this country people should take the initiative to replace the Brain-Drain. If a person has knowledge people should apply in India. It takes time to known to or become popular because India is a developing country and if we take the new steps with new ideas can also we very helpful for our country.
As many people go to another country for the higher education should take the education and come back to the home and can implement their knowledge and skill for the development of the country in starting we should have faced many problem and struggle should also take place. But intake off these problems are come and Brain-Drain should be stopped.

You can migrate to any developed country that provides high standard of living as you dreamed and can give you high pay scale but it's rare to find Our Indian Culture. It's not just about culture. India has the world's largest youth population and I am sure we, the Indians will have a great future like other country people enjoys. So stop Brain-drain. You have your own freedom but you can't do this is to the country which gave you everything (including the rights to migrate to other countries, study in abroad, work in abroad etc.).

I think many of people feel prestige to work with foreign country. And they never think twice to stay in their own country and work for its betterment. Our country is one of the developing country and there are more chance to do something innovative but it requires little patience for the success. People want to get everything in single step and tried to work in foreign country. But they do not know that there is also the opportunity to earn a lot by putting their mind to pay for own country.

Hello, friends.
According to me, brain drain has to be stopped as it is not good for the development of our country. Many intelligent n intellectual students go abroad n serve for other countries, as they are not getting enough money for their talent here in India and moreover our government does not provide them good facilities, money n status that they can get in foreign countries.
So, I think the government should give our intelligence people that status which they deserve in our country. In that only brain drain can be stopped.
