You talk about these NRIs "getting favors from India" and then fleeing the country for better opportunities. A billion other people in India had the same education opportunities available to them as the NRIs. Some of the rich kids had even better opportunities than NRIs. Why haven't the billion others studied and done well in life?

It is DISGUSTING and INHUMAN to attribute someone's success to something that the country and others have done for them. Quite the contrary. The Country doesn't do anything for someone's above-average success. It is the person alone, and sometimes their family, that works hard and achieves what they have. They will live and do wherever and whatever they wish to. You have no right to question them or anyone else's choices. If you want development in the country, then everyone should work as hard as the NRIs have.

As you all know that the brain drain is the migrations of well educated personalities like Scientists, Engineers, Doctors & various trained or intellectuals to foreign to show their ability and earn more money.

In my opinion, there are some few reasons behind for the brain drain that is, Lack of right job for right person. Lack of big research centers where our talented person show their talents. Very less salary for this type of talented persons.

We do not recognize or reward talent in our people (e.g) Hargovind Khurana could not get work in India. He left India and settled in USA. His talent was recognized there and he became a Nobel laurel. India then realize his worth.

At last I want to say that brain drain should be stopped because it the big loss for the country & the Government should have to think about this problem.

In my point, Brain -Drain has to be stopped because we born in India educated in India then should we go outside the country for doing job and earn money in another country as a citizen of this country people should take the initiative to replace the Brain-Drain. If a person has knowledge people should apply in India. It takes time to known to or become popular because India is a developing country and if we take the new steps with new ideas can also we very helpful for our country.

As many people go to another country for the higher education should take the education and come back to the home and can implement their knowledge and skill for the development of the country in starting we should have faced many problem and struggle should also take place. But intake off these problems are come and Brain-Drain should be stopped.

Brain drain is neither an action or motive nor does it signifies the helplessness of highly educated Indians.

-> Brain drain begins from where people do not follow rules in India and diligently follow the same rules anywhere abroad.

-> Brain drain begins from where people criticize their own country for the corrupt system and dream of abroad for the solution to flee away from the problem itself.

-> From here it gives rise to the biggest phase of brain drain- the intellectual population of a country migrates to other nations.

And the fault here does not lie in the nation but in the mentality of people that they are afraid to bend the changes according to them it really shows their cowardliness.

It is the people who run the country if they are not satisfied with the educational level it is they who have to change it.

Technological innovation always happens in a very limited number of places like the US. That's because you need a very special ecosystem that most other places just CANNOT provide. High-tech talent has to live in such places, otherwise, the whole humanity will die as a result of new diseases, biological warfare or space attacks. But economic development doesn't need a lot of high-tech talent. Singapore is a great example that has a lot of brain drain too but is a very developed country. You need less government interference and a free society for progress to happen, both of which India lacks. Brain drain is the great thing for India and the whole humanity, and it's just not impacting the country's development. Anyone who disagrees should first research facts and historical data on what impacts a country's development.

Hello, guys!

I am completely against the concept of brain drain as it clearly means migration of people from one country to another. India is still developing and the USA is a developed country because all the precious minds of India are busy serving the already developed country rather than their own country. It's good to gain knowledge. New experiences. To shake hands with new opportunities but one should never forget to serve their motherland.

It's ok to go abroad and work but then you should return to your own nation and try to implement your learning, knowledge for the welfare of your nation.

ONLY THE CITIZENS (YOUNG MINDS) OF INDIA CAN MAKE INDIA A DEVELOPED NATION.

Hope if anybody's who is reading this understands it and serves his own country and make it strong enough like other developed countries.

Hi guys. Every aspect has 2sides - merit, and demerit. It's also not exceptional. Now it's time of globalization. So I think brain drain must be necessary. Because interconnection of ideas can make out technology advanced. But for this purpose out government should take some essential steps. He must try to provide the proper environment & technology to them as they can continue their research work after returning from abroad. The main cause of brain drain is our government gives the 1st priority to the reserved one and in abroad they give the chance to the deserved one. For this basic difference, our brains move to abroad for proper respect & justice to their knowledge. If our government will focus on this disputes then only our country will become a developed country from a developing one. Thank you.

Hello everyone,

I am here to support working in outside of India. Because there is no use of thinking to serve our country until the corruption is eradicated. Here in our country everything is money everywhere is corrupted. See some examples,

- If we try for state government job say police inspector we need 10 lakhs money to get selected.

- If we need central government job we need 20 lakhs.

- Even if we want to open some trusts for parent less children, for old people, for handicaps we need to give bribe for lots of corrupted idiots.

Then in India we only speaking about this issues and in future we also just will be speaking but there is no use. So, I can say thinking to serve our country by working here is totally waste. So at least we will develop ourselves in foreign countries.

Thank you.

Hi my friends,

Brain drain is really a bad disease not only for India but also for other under developed countries or developing countries. Brain drain refers to migration of talented persons to some other countries. According to my view it is very shameful to us because we are all born and brought up here but ready to serve for other countries. Being a citizen of India we should have the responsibility to make our India a developed. Don't behave like a irresponsible citizen.

Don't think what country has given to you just think what you had given to your country. Indians have enough talent just utilize your talent in our country only, if you have true love about your country. Lets unite together to make India beautiful among all the countries in the world.

Proud to be an Indian.

A lot of people here talk about "SERVING MOTHERLAND". Others say that citizens need to clean up the country and make it developed. You're forgetting that India is the second most populous country in the whole world. If citizens could develop a country just by *living there*, India should have become the second cleanest and most developed country in the world decades ago! Truth is that even the most powerful people in the world can do nothing to change a country where it's government, policies and legal system are, and when majority of its people think in a regressive manner. Take Singapore for example. It is a super tiny country compared to India, but is way more developed. Why? Because of the great policies of its government, not whether most citizens live in that country or not.
