Brain-Drain has to be stopped

My name is Archana, and yes according to my opinion, brain drain can possibly be converted into development for not just an individual concern but also in the interest of our country if one after having proper experience in the field where more resources are an available return to his country. And by this one can contribute more for his country. And yes talking about our governments move it need to be considered that there should be abundant of opportunities available.

My opinion about brain drain is of course it is not good for our country, But problem with our country is we don't have any opportunities. If the person has the talent also it is not being encouraging here. Suppose If you take the case of Venkatraman Ramakrsihnan who is noble laureate from India after receiving the award he said few words that He has done this work in India but it has not been encouraged here instead to accept so many asked bribe for it. In that situation what a person will do?

And the problem with our country is reservations, talented people not getting selected for jobs in that situations obviously the person chooses a better option.

If we look into the definition or meaning of brain drain - it is the migration of skilled or qualified people in other countries for better pay or living. As every year thousands of people are migrating from one country to another this topic is worth to be discussed.

First I would like to draw your attention on migration. There are two types of people one who migrate for study or job and not qualified or not skilled to get work in their own country and second are who migrated for higher study or high paying job who is already qualified or skilled to get work in their own country, but for high quality of work or study they used to migrate.

Here brain drain is the migration of qualified or skilled people in other countries. As every coin has two sides this topic has also two side- like the good side and worse side. As the person moves to other countries like from India to USA or may be from Bhutan to India for the better quality of work, life, and pays, he grows in a way that he can't otherwise. As he got more and better opportunity the persons not only grow rather whole his family grows which in turn develop whole world. So restriction of one person in one country will be like narrow-minded thought and we also believe in philosophy of "Vasidhev Koutumbuk" that solely supports relation with the whole world. Lets take one example of Raghuram Rajan. He has completed his study up to postgraduate in India and done his Ph.D. in USA and worked for world's most renowned organisation. That eventually benefits our country by his working as Governor of RBI. So in order to grow with the whole world and to be part of the development of the whole word it must be required that every countries brain meet and work into the most competitive environment to cultivate their potential and to do their best. So I think brain drain has not to be stopped.

Brain drain is really a bad disease not only for India but also for other under developed countries or developing countries. Brain drain refers to migration of talented persons to some other countries. According to my view it is very shameful to us because we are all born and brought up here but ready to serve for other countries. Being a citizen of India we should have the responsibility to make our India a developed. Don't behave like a irresponsible citizen.

Don't think what country has given to you just think what you had given to your country. Indians have enough talent just utilize your talent in our country only, if you have true love about your country. Lets unite together to make India beautiful among all the countries in the world.

Hello friends, first of all, I want to define brain drain, it means settling in the foreign country of skilled people. According to the UNESCO report India has second in the brain drain. 85%doctor and engineer went to another country.

There are many reasons for the brain drain.

(1) lack of opportunity.
(2) lack of facilities for practical education in higher education in their own country.
(3) reservation is a major problem in India.
(4) politics involved in each and every phase.

To stop the brain drain, India should give skilled and technically people the status which they deserve.

It's my pleasure to give some lines on today topic that is given to us Brian drain.

Brian drain means emigration of highly skilled and multi-talented people to other countries.

As we know there are many evils in our society brain drain is one of them there is much reason of it.

1. Lack of job opportunities - as we know that India is 2nd most populated country in the world but no recruitment is very less.

2. Reservation-because of reservation many underserved people got the job due to quota.

3. Corruption-nepotism - many powerful people give bribe to get a job without any effort it is not good for the development of our country.

4. Lack of salary.

5. Women are not safe.

The 6-Brian drain is global issue India is not the exception but our country do many efforts to stop this like make in India and privatization.

7. If we are able to stop the Brian drain then it our country a developed country.

It's really hard to seem to stop drain brain completely because everyone has right to get a secure life for his/her and their family, but what the main reason behind the brain drain the main reason behind that we can't provide the real opportunity for our youngsters recently a statement comes from Bill Gates if we stop the entry of Indian engineers in our country then the risk of arising of another Microsoft its shows how much we got a potential it just need a support from government which provides real-time opportunities for our youngsters.

Brain drain should be stopped because:-

1) Government lose a lot of money to educate them and others countries benefit from their skills.
2) The countries of origin remain Undeveloped .
3) Immigrants find many difficulties to integrate.
4) Some of them lose their relation with their culture.
5) Harmful for any country.
6) It Affect economy and social area of the country.
7) It is true other countries provide better salary scale but every country wants that type of people because they can help to development of country.
8) we had to stop brain drain for our next generation.

Yeah, all of you are speaking of disadvantages of Brain drain but no one is worried about the causes and reasons behind it!

The reason is RESERVATIONS IN EDUCATION SYSTEM.

Though many of bonafide's are having good skills and talents in their professions, they are not getting opportunities in INDIA.

In order to get paid for their talents, they are moving out of the country.

To get rid of this, reservations in categories should be removed, instead, talents should be noticed.

I totally support this topic, the reason I think it should be stopped completely is that for making few USD all students are brain drain which is completely the worst side to see. We cannot blindly put blames on parents, teachers or the society for this because money makes people greedy which is a "myth". Nowadays everyone wants to be a billionaire but the way they have chosen to be is completely wrong as per me. Rather than this path they can be rich in their own nation. If they change their mentality I think India will be shifted from development stage to developed country in future soon, and we can do so, by motivating people.

At last, I would like to say "soch badlo, desh apne aap badlega". Show some respect towards your motherland.
