A Person should not be too honest; Straight Trees are cut first

Hey every reader, all my life I've been honest and people have been telling me I'm different from the people I live with. All my life I've been trying to figure out what's really wrong with me and now I know my ins and outs. I'm honest, I don't think I can live a day without being honest. Friends turn to come to me whenever they're in need but are ashamed to be seen with me. I'm resigning from my job because I'm a threat to the people there. I'm going to continue living with honesty even if it kills me. I'll proudly die for my own principle. I know I've to embrace some things like being alone and work hard to be independent and I am.

We live in an era where people's moral value are more considered by other people. Society loves those people only who is honest with them, who are loyal towards them. A relation is only build if the person is honest and loyal with you. You don't step forward to make a relation with the person who is dishonest, because somewhere in your heart you know he can betray you any time in the life.

Yeah It is true straight trees are cut first, a person who is straight forward and honest, is criticized somewhere in his life but in the end he will find a place in society where his presence is more valued.

First of all I would like to say thank you all to given me this golden opportunity that I can share my thoughts.

Actually first of all I would like to say that there are many things which are considered good but in real life those are called bad things SO when we face this kind of situation in our life every day so we can also consider where is need of honesty.

I mean showing only attitude all time is not good because our life is a practical life and there is need that we must continue change our work. So we always should live on situation base in place of pre-planning.

We are living in an artificial world, full of corruption and materialistic people. So i don't think being too honest in such a phase would let one survive. Inorder to be successful and achieve the highest goals in one's life it would definitely a correct step if one has to be dishonest in some way of his/her goal. I won't say this thing has to be followed always but yes when required it should be. Being completely honest and not achieving what one believes to have rather ruining one's own dreams is not good. A slightly bent tree has an advantage to survive more than a straight tree.

I would stay honest rather than having lots of gold and silver but no sleep. I believe honesty and hard work takes more time to succeed in what so called Good life. But the real good life is how honestly you do things that gives total satisfaction not me or my family but to the contribution of this society. Being fair to others begins with our honesty. If everybody start to be dishonest, the world will be more corrupt and people would steal from others and live a immoral life. Hence the adage which you say "Person should not be too honest; Straight Trees are cut first" is not right.

In today's fiercely competitive, ferocious world where honesty is dying out, one who is honest and truthful is a lone lamb. And well, it's always better to be part of the pack than to be a loner, isn't it?

Today, one needs to be as humble as a dove but at the same time as cunning as a serpent. A lie that yields the good to others is truth itself. In fact, it's better than the truth.

I believe life is a culmination of sacrifices and the good deeds you do, So be honest till your honesty is not taken as gullibility and weakness. Be kind till you are not affected.

Being too honest looks like madness to some people who think realistically. And for people who think ideally honesty is the best policy. So ultimately things reduce to individuals opinion and their world view.

I like people who are honest.

Being too honest is the path of unselfish and Brave people. Absolute honesty is only for those who are ready to face any consequences for their actions. I am not really that brave to be absolutely honest. But I always regret for being a coward and not being an absolutely honest one.

At the end I vote for honest ones.

Satyamev Jayate is our National symbol. But in nowadays Satya is harassed and seldom wins.

One Satya or honest people are targeted by Group of Corrupt people and the system is either helpless or has no intention for the growth of honesty. Most of the people see the benefit in prevailing corruption.

This is the reason the leader or corrupt officers proclaims who's is not involved in the country if they get a chance and other says no one even the prime minister can make any harm.

But this is not true when all will involve the country will be collapsed.

Honesty is only good for those who have the capacity to suffer and accept the consequences with a content heart. It is not meant for people who relate everything to profit and loss terms, because till they are having profit. Honesty seems to be good. Infact very good, but loss shakes them. And honesty can go to hell. So in my thinking if you can afford to lose your dearest things for honesty its the best thing to be honest, but if you can't they be dishonest and be happy till you can. Because at last straight trees are taller than curved ones.

I don't accept with the topic, because honesty alone prevails. We all are honest by our birth but its so difficult to maintain the honesty. Infact being honest depends upon the situation that we face. We all are a honest person until we caught into a consequences. So being dishonest may provide you fame, money and everything but being honest we can remain in the heart of the people.

Honesty is the policy that our country follows. So, be honest till your life.

So all I want to say is honesty alone prevails.
