A Person should not be too honest; Straight Trees are cut first

"What is too much of Honesty". Honesty is either there or not there. If you have to compromise, then it is simply not honesty. The path is definetely difficult for honest people. But should this be compromised for short lived success. To acheive a goal , if you have to be dishonest and bend your way ,then it cannot be called just being less honest. Rather besides being dishonest, one is now selfish too. Why dont the honest lot beleive that they are made this way by Almighty Lord and if He has desired it to be like that, then there has to be a purpose. Maybe, these people come ahead of time and indicate that a change is certainly going to be there - "From less honest people to higher percentage of honest people".

As we always say "honesty is the best policy" but every time this statement doesn't true. As one coin has two faces, so always being honest is not right as it depended on situations we face in our life. How desperately difficult is it to be honest with oneself. It is much easier to be honest with one another. A person should not be too honest, straight trees are cut first and honest people are screwed first.

Honesty - people only like it, till it hurts.
Honestly, it's accepted as long as it comforts.
Honesty - it's to be expected.
Honestly, it's not even recommended.
Honesty - keeps you happy.
Honestly, it makes your outlook crappy.
Honesty - can put a smile on your face.
Honestly, it'll put you in your place.

I think honesty is the best policy because being honest will give you mental peace. You don't have to live with guilt because you lied. If you are always honest with people you don't have to remember the lie you told them. The other person will always trust you. Being honest with someone shows character and shows that you trust them enough to let them know that you tell the truth and nothing but the truth. When someone feels you are honest with them they tend to trust you more and this builds a strong relationship. It also assures the other person that you are trustworthy. Dishonest people don't get second chances when they lie because people are going to think they are always lying to them.

Actually, being honest is a good thing do but for sometimes, it is just like making your own grave.

What I mean is for e.g, I broke my mom's favourite vase which is an ancient vase she gets from her grandma. So, if you were me, would you want to tell honestly to her or keep it as a secret?

For me, I would keep it as a secret because if my moms knows it, I will get my neck squeezed as my mom is short -tempered. But one good thing is, if you mom is not short-tempered, you better tell her about it because lying is not a right thing to do.

I just want to remind you that being too honest is not good and also too secret is worse because it is the same as lying.

Here we have to understand the meaning of honest. No one in this world is 100% honest. We think we are honest people. We are doing everything honestly unless and until we are facing any problem in our day to day life. Suppose you are a job seeker.

After an exam or interview you may not request any one to give you that job. But you must pray god to get that job, in that time you never pray to god to give that person who did best in the exam.

But here the discussion topic is: Straight trees are cut first. Yes a straight tree is cut first because being too honest can lead a one in problems as in my above example, you may not get that job.

Yes, In this creative money minded universe there is no human who is 100% honesty. Every pupil in this country is selfish. Every time speaking honest keeps a person in difficulty. Honesty does not suggest that every time you should speak truth, according to the situation we should go ahead. Being honest all the time push you in difficultly by someone. EXAMPLE Many enemies will develop against you, it also causes your family in difficulty. It is a good thing that a person should be honest because honesty is the best policy, not for limited time but for ever but sometimes it becomes a bottleneck. It doesn't mean that we should leave honesty but we should show our honesty in a different manner according to the time, situation and before the person whom we are going to be treated by. We should also be diplomatic in nature as well as honest according to the situation and requirement while coming across a person so that we wouldn't be cheated by him.

In other words we can say we should be honest but careful. We should be like straight trees but solid rather than soft for not to be cut easily.

Actually, no one in this world is 100% honest. An honest person faces many hurdles on their way.

Nowadays there is no need of honest people. You must have heard that straight trees are cut first.

But terms and condition apply means if you are in the relationship you have to be honest otherwise you will not able to continue your relationship.

A person tries to be more honest they always be in deep water.

The most important thing is that "you must be honest with your nation".

If you follow honesty in every act of life then you will be put in so much of hardship that later on you remain lonely. Our political system is that we have to follow dishonesty for our survival in the society as for being stay in that right from birth to death one has to interact with government servant who though wants to be honest but even for their survival they became corrupt.

For your satisfaction you can opt honesty but never expect the same from others. Dishonest corrupt people are always liked by our rulers as they can be very easily manipulated for their selfish motivation. This is my experience as. EXCEPTIONS ARE ALWAYS THERE.

I think and support that people should be honest. You may get fame, money and happiness by lying (for now) but at the end of the day, you will certainly fall. But if you are honest and speak the truth, though you might not get all the things that you want/wished for at that particular time, but after a certain period of time, you will definitely get your reward and that's for sure. So, all I want to say is that by being honest you may not get what you want for the present time but in the long-run, you certainly will get what you want and you will then achieve your destination and become successful. ! :).
