The Government of Andhra Pradesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in New Delhi. This collaboration aims to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital technologies, and data-driven governance across various sectors like healthcare, education, agriculture, and employment. By leveraging AI and digital solutions, the government intends to enhance service delivery, promote innovation, and drive efficiency in public administration, with a particular focus on healthcare and education reforms to improve outcomes for the state's residents.

The Telangana Government launched the 'Rajiv Yuva Vikasam' scheme with the goal of promoting self-employment and economic development. This initiative was launched by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy aims to empower unemployed youth, particularly from marginalized communities, by providing financial assistance for establishing their own businesses. The scheme is backed by a ₹6,000 crore budget and aims to benefit five lakh youth across the state. It includes a tiered subsidy structure, offering financial aid of up to ₹3 lakh, along with affordable loan options for youth entrepreneurs.

The BJP-led government in Chhattisgarh, under Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is working on introducing a more stringent anti-conversion law to prevent illegal religious conversions. While the state already has the Chhattisgarh Freedom of Religion Act, 1968, the new law aims to address issues such as conversions through coercion, inducements, or gatherings under the guise of “faith healing.” This move follows political discussions and allegations regarding foreign-funded NGOs involved in conversion activities. The new law is intended to enforce stricter legal actions against unlawful conversions in the state.

Hockey Jharkhand triumphed in the 15th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2025, claiming their first-ever national title. They defeated the defending champions, Hockey Haryana, in a thrilling final that ended in a 1-1 draw, leading to a penalty shootout. Jharkhand won the shootout 4-3, with contributions from players like Rajni Kerketta, Nirali Kujur, Binima Dhan, and Captain Alebla Rani Toppo. This victory marked a historic achievement for Jharkhand in Indian women's hockey, as it was their first title after a previous runner-up finish in 2015.

The Lachit Barphukan Police Academy was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Dergaon, Assam. This state-of-the-art facility aims to enhance law enforcement training. It spans 340 acres and includes modern infrastructure such as smart classrooms, a weapon training simulator, research labs, and a modern parade ground.
