Madhya Pradesh has pioneered India’s first AI-powered real-time forest alert system, aimed at enhancing forest conservation and management. The system integrates satellite imagery from the Google Earth Engine, artificial intelligence, and mobile-based field reporting to detect illegal activities such as land encroachment and deforestation. Currently piloted in five forest divisions—Shivpuri, Guna, Vidisha, Burhanpur, and Khandwa—the initiative enables immediate alerts and on-ground verification by forest officials. This proactive approach enhances the efficiency and sustainability of forest monitoring and serves as a model for other states to replicate for better environmental governance.

Mizoram has experienced a severe outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF), resulting in the death of over 3,000 pigs within a month. The outbreak has primarily affected four districts, with Siaha being the worst impacted. In response to the spread of the disease, authorities culled nearly 1,000 pigs and declared 46 localities as ASF-infected zones to contain the virus. The economic damage has been substantial, with losses in 2024 alone amounting to Rs 336.49 crore, adding to the burden from earlier outbreaks. The situation underscores the need for robust veterinary and biosecurity measures in the region.

Madhya Pradesh has been approved for the ₹2,100 crore PM MITRA Textile Park, a significant initiative under the central government’s plan to strengthen India’s textile sector. Spanning 2,100 acres, the park will feature advanced infrastructure including a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, solar-powered energy systems, and Built-To-Suit (BTS) units tailored to industry needs. The project is expected to draw major investments, generate employment, and enhance India's competitiveness in global textile markets. Odisha hosted a Capacity Building Programme in collaboration with the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) on April 25, 2025, in Bhubaneswar. The initiative focused on enhancing the state's agricultural exports, particularly its unique Geographical Indication (GI) tagged products like Koraput Coffee, Kandhamal Haldi, and Nayagad Brinjal. Through three dedicated technical sessions, the event addressed key areas such as organic product exports, boosting rice exports, and adding value to GI-certified commodities. Kerala is taking a progressive step by planning to implement Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology to efficiently manage its power demands. This innovative system allows electric vehicles (EVs) to act as mobile energy storage units. When not in use, EVs can send stored electricity back to the power grid using bi-directional chargers, helping balance supply during peak demand. The process includes both Grid-to-Vehicle (G2V) charging and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) discharging, making EVs a critical asset in energy management. This initiative demonstrates Kerala’s commitment to integrating clean technology with energy infrastructure for a more sustainable future.
