Chandigarh University launched the KCC Space Technology & Research Program 2026 through its Kalpana Chawla Centre. Japan partnered with India to adopt the Rules of Implementation for the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM), a bilateral framework designed to support climate mitigation projects and carbon reduction efforts. Emission reductions achieved through these projects are quantified and shared as carbon credits between the participating countries. Arunava Das was appointed as the CEO of North America by InCred Capital as part of the company's expansion into the United States market. Hitesh Rameshchandra Joshi was appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. Odisha approved investment proposals worth approximately ₹76,612 crore across 20 major projects spanning sectors such as lab-grown diamonds, renewable energy, critical minerals, steel manufacturing, healthcare, and infrastructure.
