Chandigarh University launched the KCC Space Technology & Research Program 2026 through its Kalpana Chawla Centre. The national-level initiative focuses on advanced areas such as Quantum Cryptography, Quantum Communications, Artificial Intelligence in satellite systems, Small Satellite Technologies, and semiconductor ecosystem development. The program brings together experts and mentors from organisations including ISRO, NewSpace India Limited, the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, and the Ministry of Earth Sciences. Running from June 15 to July 11, 2026, the initiative aims to provide students and researchers with practical exposure to emerging space technologies while supporting India's goals in innovation, space research, and semiconductor self-reliance.
