Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) commissioned a 3.37 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Khavda, Gujarat, marking the largest such facility outside China. The project achieved global recognition due to its massive scale and rapid execution within just 10 months of construction. The system enhances renewable energy reliability by storing large amounts of electricity and supplying power during demand peaks. It can power around 1 million homes for a full day and support millions of LED bulbs for extended hours. Khavda is also a major renewable energy hub where AGEL is developing one of the world’s largest clean energy plants.

The Museum of Medical Archives, recognised as Kerala’s first private medical museum, was inaugurated in Ulloor, Thiruvananthapuram, on May 26, 2026. It was established by A Sivaraman, a former artist-modeller from the Government Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram.
