The Governance Summit 2026, themed "Inclusive AI for Viksit Bharat," was organised on May 23, 2026, at the Mohali campus of the Indian School of Business (ISB). Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Bharti Institute of Public Policy at ISB, the summit focused on the use of Artificial Intelligence for digital commerce, online safety, healthcare access, job creation, and public service delivery. A key highlight was a roundtable discussion on leveraging AI at the Gram Panchayat level to improve governance. The event aligned with the broader Viksit Bharat vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
