The Delhi Police launched the 'Shishtachar' initiative with 30 squads patrolling hotspots to tackle eve-teasing and harassment in public spaces. The squads, consisting of both male and female officers, focus on law enforcement, victim protection, and public awareness, without imposing cultural morality. This initiative aims to prevent harassment, intervene in unsafe situations, and promote community collaboration to ensure women’s safety in New Delhi, showcasing the city’s commitment to addressing issues related to women's safety in public spaces.

The Faya Palaeolandscape, located in Sharjah, has been nominated for UNESCO status. It provides evidence of human survival in extreme desert conditions for over 210,000 years. Excavations at the site have uncovered 18 phases of human occupation, stone tools, burial sites, and trade links with Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley, offering a unique insight into early human adaptation to desert life. Geological formations, water sources, and climate shifts were essential in sustaining these early human settlements and trade connections.

The 4th ‘No Money for Terror’ (NMFT) Conference, which focused on global initiatives to tackle terror financing, was held in Munich. India has signed an MoU to develop a state-of-the-art Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Varanasi. The park, covering 150 acres, will significantly enhance regional connectivity. It will be strategically connected to NH7, the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor, and National Waterway-1, offering easy access to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport.
