The United Nations and Britain said Wednesday they would co-host a global climate summit on December 12, the fifth anniversary of the landmark Paris Agreement. The announcement came days after Chinese President Xi Jinping told the UN that the world's largest greenhouse gas polluter would peak emissions in 2030 and attempt to go carbon neutral by 2060, a move hailed by environmentalists.

Researchers from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has successfully developed an indigenous microprocessor for IoT devices. The microprocessor is named as MOUSHIK. The institute claims that this microprocessor is a combination of a processor and system on a chip that caters to rapidly growing IoT devices. Digital India's push for smart cities has increased the adoption of the internet of things (IoT) devices.

15th CII-Exim Bank digital conclave on India-Africa Project Partnership in the national capital on September 22, External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar said, "India is Africa's third-largest export destination. The second time he won the National award for his first Hindi song, Tere Mere Beech Mein in the film Ek Duuje Ke Liye.

Kerala has won the United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases Awards 2020 for its "outstanding contribution" towards the non-communicable diseases-related sustainable development goals.
