Volume of mortar required= 100*.12 = 1.2.
Total 60% of volume increases for dry mortar
1.2+ (.60* 1.2)= 1.92.
Now volume of cement = 1/7 * 1.92= 0.2743.

dry vol=area*thckness*1.3*1.25.
dry vol=100*0.012*1.3*1.25.
=1.95cum,
Cement=1.95/1+6,
Cement=0.278cum,
dry vol=100*0.012*1.3*1.25.
=1.95cum,
Cement=1.95/1+6,
Cement=0.278cum,

For 1 m3,
Dry volume = 1m3,
Wet volume is 35% of dry volume,
So we have to take.
1: 6 = 1.35 ( 1.35 m3 become 1m3 after adding water in mortor....and for concrete we take 55%....1.54m3 = 1m3).
1+ 6 = 7........1.35/7 = 0.193 cement required per m3,
Volume = 12/1000 * 100 = 1.2 m3,
Required cement volume= 1.2 * 0.193 =0.23.
