C.P.M. Consume maximum resources, It the longest path & consume maximum time. The slack or float may be positive, negative or zero. You know if project beyond this critical situation definitely it fails that means there is such route designated you can take maximum time to complete your project but not go beyond. (friend tell me if it consuming max. Resources then how could it completed in minimum time).

Option (b) is correct.

The critical path is the longest path time-wise, is true. But the question is.

'For completion of a project' so the answer is option A. Because no matter how many resources you put in, you cannot complete the project within the critical path. The critical path is the MINIMUM time in which you can complete the project along the longest path.

Obesley critical path is longest path but it does not consume max time beacuse length of arrow of activity is not drawen in any scale it is indpended of length of arrow. And also the objective of introducing critical path is to menimise the cost of project. If time increase than cost increase directly.

Critical path is the network of critical activities and less than the critical time the Project can't be completed and without critical activities project can't be completed thus in a network Critical path is the longest path but it indicates Minm time to complete a project.

The answer is correct. No doubt that critical path is always taken as the maximum time taken but it signifies that all the activities will be finished in that time and for the project to be considered as complete that time will be minimum.

The path which consumes maximum time resources is critical but in the projection, it is actually the MINIMUM time required to execute the project.

The question is asked in this way.

So, the Correct answer is definetly option B.

In project management, a critical path is the sequence of project network activities which add up to the longest overall duration, This determines the shortest time possible to complete the project.

So, the Answer is A.

Answer A is correct in a sense that at least that amount of critical time is required for the project to complete and the project can't be completed shorter than that time. So critical time is the minimum possible time.

The critical path will be the longest path in the network requiring the maximum amount of time, but it will represent the minimum duration that is required to complete all the activities i.e. completion of a project.

The Corrct Answer is A. Though CP is the longest time in any series of activities. When the activities are completed, for that project, the completion time is the minimum time required for the project to complete.
