Both A and B stand side by side and shoot at the same time. 5 bullets com out of A's gun and 3 bullets come out of B's gun. So the total no of bullets fired at once is 8.
Its given that A kills one in 3 shots and B kills one in 2 shots. Its also given that B misses 27 times.
As B Misses 27 times and kills one in two shots, the total bullets fired by B is 27*2 = 54.
We know that 3 bullets came out of B'S gun when he shot once.
So the no of times B shot is 54/3 = 18.
Also the no of bullets came out of A is 5 when he shot once and since both A and B shot same no of times i.e.18 times, so the total no of bullets came out of A's gun is 5*18 = 90 bullets.
As A killed one in three bullets, the total no of birds killed by A is 90/3 = 30.

Every time B fires 3 shots, A fires 5 shots
That’s a firing ratio: A: B = 5 : 3, every time B fires 3, A fires 5.
But B, from 3 shots, he misses 1 shot every time he fires and kills 2, so the total he misses is 27.
In simple language, B misses 1 shots and kills 2, We have given no of shots he missed, but it doesn't include the shots he used to kill, which is 2.
To get the total no of shots of B, 27x2=54 shots.
To calculate A shots, which is 5:3, 54/3=18 times A fired, and 1 time firing consists of 5 shots.
So, 18 x 5 = 90.
The total no of shots A fired is 90, kills once in 3 shots, so 90/3= 60.

When total no of shots = 8.
A fired 5 times of 8 = 5/8.
B fires 3 times of 8.
Hence B's fired = 3/8.
A succeed 3 times in 5/8 shots.
Hence A succeed = 5/24 times similarly.
B succeed 2 times in 3/8 SHOTS.
B SUCCEED = 3/16 times and also failed 3/16 times.
If total no shots = x .
Then,
B's failed time = 3x/16.
Since,
B failed 27 time = 3x/16.
27=3x/16.
X=144=total no of shots.
A's total shot=failed+succeed.
=27+27=54.
B's shot=total-A's shot.
=144-54=90.
Then,
B's succeed =90/3=30.
A fired 5 times of 8 = 5/8.
B fires 3 times of 8.
Hence B's fired = 3/8.
A succeed 3 times in 5/8 shots.

B succeed 2 times in 3/8 SHOTS.

B's failed time = 3x/16.

B failed 27 time = 3x/16.
27=3x/16.
X=144=total no of shots.
A's total shot=failed+succeed.
=27+27=54.
B's shot=total-A's shot.
=144-54=90.
Then,
B's succeed =90/3=30.

The ratio of no.of shots by A to the no.of shots by B is 5:3.
Let the actual shots of A and B be 5x and 3x respectively.
B kills once in 2 shots means one shot of B gets success and another shot gets failure.
Total shots = 27 failed shots + 27 successful shots = 54.
That is 3x = 54.
x = (54/3) = 18.
A's total shots = 5x = 5(18) = 90.
A kills once in 3 shots means A's 2 shots get failed and 1 shot.
Achieves the target (kills the bird).
So, A has killed (90/3) = 30 birds.

B kills once in 2 shots.
No. of failure shots = 1.
No. of succeeded shots = 1.
When no. of failure shots = 27 then no. of succeeded shots = 27,
So, total no. of shots by B = 27+27 = 54.
When B shoots 3 shot then A shoots 5 shots.
So, When B shoots 1 shot then A shoots 5/3 shot.
So, When B shoots 54 shot then A shoots 54*5/3 = 90 shots.
When A shoots 3 it killed 1.
So, when A shoots 90 it killed = 90/3 = 30.
No. of failure shots = 1.
No. of succeeded shots = 1.
When no. of failure shots = 27 then no. of succeeded shots = 27,
So, total no. of shots by B = 27+27 = 54.

This can also be solved practically rather than theoretically.
It is given that B has missed 27 times and B kills once for 2 shots. So, total number of shots B has got is 27*2=54.
And also it is given that A gets 5 shots while B gets 3 shots. So,.
54/3=18.
The number of shots A gets is= 18*5=90.
But A kills once in every 3 shots, so 90/3=30.
No of birds killed by A is=30.

Given:No of shots=8(A=5,B=3)
Suceeded shots of A= 1 of 3,so 1/3
Suceeded shots of B= 1 of 2,so 1/2
Failure shots of B=27
so Suceeded shots by A=1/3 of 5/8x=5/24*x
Suceeded shots by B=1/2 of 3/8x=3/16*x
therefore failure shots,3x/16=27 (because 27 is missed shots as per question),so x=144
Therefore succeded shots by A=5x/24 *144= 30
Suceeded shots of A= 1 of 3,so 1/3
Suceeded shots of B= 1 of 2,so 1/2
Failure shots of B=27
so Suceeded shots by A=1/3 of 5/8x=5/24*x
Suceeded shots by B=1/2 of 3/8x=3/16*x
therefore failure shots,3x/16=27 (because 27 is missed shots as per question),so x=144
Therefore succeded shots by A=5x/24 *144= 30

Another way of solving this question by logic is,
B -27 times failed,it indicates 27 times succeeded.(given in question, kills once in 2 shots)
So totally,27+27=54 shots.
A fires 5 shots for b's 3.
A --------- B
5 --------- 3
?? --------- 54.
A=54 * 5/3=90 shots.
A has 90 shots,
A kills once in 3 shots, so 90/3 =30 birds.
B -27 times failed,it indicates 27 times succeeded.(given in question, kills once in 2 shots)
So totally,27+27=54 shots.
A fires 5 shots for b's 3.
A --------- B
5 --------- 3
?? --------- 54.
A=54 * 5/3=90 shots.
A has 90 shots,
A kills once in 3 shots, so 90/3 =30 birds.

A:B=5:3.
Let no. of shots by A= 5x and B= 3x.
A kills after every 3 shots,
No. of birds killed by A= 5x/3.
B kills after every 2 shots,
No. of birds killed by B= 3x/2.
No. of shots missed by B= 3x-3x/2= 3x/2=27.
Therefore x= 27 x 2/3= 18.
No. of birds killed by A in that time= 5x/3= 5*18/3= 30.

A fires 5 shots and kills one in 3.
Therefore effective short by A = 3/5.
Similarly B = 2/3.
Also 3/5A = 2/3B.
Now, the no of birds killed by B in 27 shots would be 27*2/3 = 18.
When B kills 18 birds. No of birds killed by A = 18*5/3 = 30.
Can anybody tell me if I am doing it right?
