Total over of match=10+40=50.
Total runs in 50 overs=282.
First 10 overs runs =3.2*10=32.
We have to calculate run rate of last 40 overs.
Now..run in 40 over= total run-10 over's run.
So, 282-32=250.
Run rate in 40 overs= run in 40 overs ÷overs.
=250÷40=6.25.
Hence, the required run rate in 40 is 6.25 answer.
Total runs in 50 overs=282.
First 10 overs runs =3.2*10=32.
We have to calculate run rate of last 40 overs.
Now..run in 40 over= total run-10 over's run.
So, 282-32=250.

So, required run rate = (target /left over ) - current run rate.
= (282/30)- 3.2.
= 6.2.

Average = sum of observations/number of observations.

3.2 = Sum/10 --> Sum = 32--> Run in first 10 overs.
