Here 4m 1 to 10 , we clearly have 10 no's:3,13,23,33,43,53,63,73,83,93 and more 9 no's:30,31,32,34,35,36,37,38,39 Since we have calculated 33 already need not count here . Hence answer is 19. |

NO the answer was 20 because in 33 we wrote down 3 in two times so 20 is the right answer but here they mistakenly said 33 two times |
Ashish said: (Aug 10, 2011) | |
Yes the answer should be 19. |

@All The correct answer is 20. 03, 13, 23, 43, 53, 63, 73, 83, 93 = 9 3s are there 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39 = 9 3s are there 33 = 2 3s are there Total = 9 + 9 + 2 = 20. |

3, 13, 23, 33, 43, 53, 63, 73, 83, 93 = Eleven 3's. 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39 = Nine 3's. Therefor 11 + 9 = 20. |

It's wrong, because 33 was counted twice. Therefore, the answer is 19. |
