If you write down all the numbers from 1 to 100, then how many times do you write 3 ?

Clearly, from 1 to 100, there are ten numbers with 3 as the unit's digit- 3, 13, 23, 33, 43, 53, 63, 73, 83, 93; and ten numbers with 3 as the ten's digit - 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39.
So, required number = 10 + 10 = 20.

Here 4m 1 to 10 , we clearly have
10 no's:3,13,23,33,43,53,63,73,83,93
and more 9 no's:30,31,32,34,35,36,37,38,39
Since we have calculated 33 already need not count here .
Hence answer is 19.

03, 13, 23, 43, 53, 63, 73, 83, 93 = 9 3s are there
30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39 = 9 3s are there
33 = 2 3s are there
Total = 9 + 9 + 2 = 20.
The correct answer is 20.

NO the answer was 20 because in 33 we wrote down 3 in two times so 20 is the right answer but here they mistakenly said 33 two times

According to me, the correct answer is 19 and not 20. You cannot account for 33 twice.
