Confidence is when I say " I'm Suitable for this Job " and overconfidence is when I say " I'm the only one suitable for this job".
Confidence does good to you, Overconfidence harms you without you even knowing that.

Confidence is knowing and acting based on that knowledge without fear and over confidence is believing you have reached a certain level whilst you not. Acting beyond your capacity.

Confidence is being keen not only towards the success but also towards failures, and confidence allows to overcome failure.
Whereas overconfidence never care about your failures it only thinks about success and makes you feel that it's not level of mine and initiates negligence.
In a way, confidence+negligence = Over Confidence.
Confidence=faith+afraid of failures.

There is very thin line between confidence and over confidence.
I can do this work is confidence.
Only I can do this work is over confidence.
I can do this work is confidence.
Only I can do this work is over confidence.

Confidence is that I can do any work which you will assign.
Overconfidence only I can do this work and no one can do this work so that is the over-confidence.
Overconfidence only I can do this work and no one can do this work so that is the over-confidence.
