What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?

Confidence is being honest ourself and other while not comparing others.

Overconfidence is a lie to ourself and underestimating other.

In my opinion, if one person appointed a work for us if we say like we can do its nothing but confidence if we say only we are the people who can do this work called overconfidence.

Confidence is I can do the thing by using my skills and knowledge.

And over confidence is even I don't have the right knowledge about the thing still I'm showing off that I can do it.

Confidence is the belief that one can have faith and Overconfidence is the quality of being too confident.

If we decide whether we can do particular work or not after analysing is confidence, if we decide we can without analysing it is Overconfidence.

Let me give an example:.

Suppose I have attended the particular interview and if I say I will get the job it is confidence because I know how I performed.

But if I say only I will get the job, no one can do better than me it is Overconfidence because I don't know how the rest of them performed, might be someone else has performed well.

Confidence is from good knowledge, so leads to success.

Overconfidence is from Half knowledge, so it leads to failure.

Confidence means I can do it.

Over-confidence means only I can do it.

Working in a manner that I can do is a confidence.

And working in the manner that only I can do is a over confidence.

I think confidence means I can do it.

And over-confidence means only I can do it.

"I can do it"- Confidence, "ONLY I can do it"- Over Confidence.

Confidence:- I can do this.

Over-confidence: Only I can do this.
