Confidence is all about your real capabilities. According to your determination, you could make yourself confident. Confidence is good. You should always be confident but overconfidence is like that which keeps us back, pulls down. When we think only I can do this I can make this, nobody is there like me, nobody can make this except me then what will happen! Nothing. It destroys us. People may fun of us. They may be sledging behind our back and which will pull us down.

I can defined confidence and over confidence through an example If I say.

Confidence is something when you do care about your result and puts 100% effort to make it best but in over confidence's case you don't care about the result although might be possible to not to put any effort because of over assurance to that matter. In other words, confidence is what when you make a rough path in a walkable path and in over-confidence, you make a rough path into a slippery (over smooth) path.

According to me, Confidence is a positive and healthy behavior based on knowledge, skills, experience, and ability.
Whereas Overconfidence is an unrealistic and excessive belief in one's ability that shows negative behavior.

Confidence is nothing but what we have belief and I can do purpose of only for self not for others.
Overconfidence means doubting themselves only without knowing thir strengths & weakness they only think I will do like that.
