Tell me about a situation when your work was criticized.

Criticize is the way of improvement of myself because when I joined the company as a fresher criticized by senior after some days I improved it and show to him I'm better than you.

Sir, its happen to me many times in my starting days but it makes me more perfect, optimistic and accountable towards my work since then I treat it as a good remark.

I have criticized by my colleague and company rarely in my past career. Whenever I criticized I take it as a positive and improve myself and make me prepared for the future challenges.

I was criticized for my selection and it was informed me that it was worst recruitment in my tenure. Because attitude of selected candidate was not good. That criticism I kept in my mind, now recruiting people very carefully.

There is monthly review meeting and I was giving a presentation. In target vs achievement slide my quarterly target was 5.14 crores and I showed my achievement would be 5.14 crores then my reviewer criticize me how do you know this figure.

So I correct it and learned a lesson. Mean I should show it the achievement in 5.20 crores.

Well, the most critical time of my work was when I was supposed to work with two printers as an inventory management clerk and on that faithful day, I met only one functional on night duty. While printing that night (Load List & Invoice) on the same printer there was the network problem and the printer was also jamming but with constant persevering, I was able to meet up with the cut off time of printing.

I had my work criticized when a yearly evaluation was done stating I failed to do some documentation. I accepted it and turned it around to make me a more mindful person and an excellent staff.

Criticism to me is an opportunity to improve your shortcomings. The criticism gives us the chance to polish yourself more in terms of skills, expertise, and competencies. If we have gut nature to accept the criticism we can face any challenge easily because we keep on improving our self, putting more efforts to deliver the quality. I was criticized for quality with quantity. But with time I kept on improving myself, started processing hefty work daily without listening anything. Because I changed my belief system on it that I can't to it. To do anything you have to be assertive, destroy any belief system about you. With the gut feeling just keep on doing work with confidence and an honesty. With that, you will be noticed definitely.

I have never got too much criticized by my work or my seniors. If you are doing your work in an appropriate manner then you will never get a chance to get criticized. But sometimes it happens when you get criticized, if you are taking it positively then it means you are improving your work and next time you will never get fail down in your work.

I am very positive about constructive criticism, it is a leeway to work smart. My supervisor once criticized my reports to be too detailed he wanted more summarized one for he had very little time to read reports since they were many at his table from different inspectors.
