Peoples are not judges by their ages, they are judges according to their virtues, values, hierarchy & knowledge. I will never hesitate or feel down whenever reporting to a person younger than me.

Does matter that reporting boss is elder or younger. Knowledge should be the first preference and experience. But if after sometime the person who is reporting to younger boss perform better more then expectation then the organization should do something for him/her.

I have to do nothing with the age of any employee of the company. Only knowledge and effort is the matter for me that's why any employee achieve a good designation. This will be respectful for me. I will always respect.

In my personal experience. It does matters and I will feel bad. Why? Because that younger person learned everything from me and now try to be smart and bossy because of his/her filthy talent of back kisser of my main boss and has SYMPATHY of my boss. I will leave such job immediately. It is not ego but truth, if you ask this hard question to yourself, Do you deserve this?

Till now I have not experienced such scenario but honestly it does not matters until and unless the younger person deserves his/her position based on ability.

I personally feel age is just a number. It is the hard work and smart work along with determination which amplifies one's range. So, instead of feeling shamed or depressed of reporting to younger ones I will tend to gain knowledge from him and learn the possible ways to move ahead professionally.

It is the matter of position not the age. So it hardly matters to me. Even I would love to work with intelligent and experienced people doesn't matter of their age.

Sir, age doesn't matter because age shows only no. He is more knowledge and experience of his work. We can take him as a role model and inspiration for us. And I respect his position.
