No. Enforcing Hindi on non-Hindi speakers would result in chaos. Everyone is proud of their own mother tongue. Hindi people should shove it up their asses only.

Hi, Myself Krishna Verma. And my point of view is that if Hindi will be official language then it will be somewhat beneficial for people who face difficulties to convey their ideas, view of perception due to lack of communication skills. But when we look for overall development & for the long term, the English language provides better chances in vast level. People can explore themselves in vast level and communicate with anyone regardless of any foundation.

According to me, Hindi should not be official language as of now because of following reasons,

1. As we all know, India is a developing country and our CAD is high. As part of global trade and to attract FDI and FPI, it will be convenient if we use English, which is the official language for many developed Countries.

2. Hindi is not spoken all over India and many people do not know to read Hindi which will be difficult for people to translate the official documents to regional languages.

3. The compulsion of Hindi language may bring social unrest in one part of society.

It can be the official language of India but it requires huge time to make it official. I can say for our generation it can't be the official language but from next generation, I can be official and this will take time.

India has around 200 languages in 33 states.

And we have to select only one, those persons who understand Hindi will be beneficial for them if we make it official.

Every person brought up with his/her mother tongue and they learn English side by side so that they can communicate in future. If they can learn English then they also can learn Hindi.

French and China has their official language as French and Chinese respectively and most of the youth of China never learn English due to which they can not apply for the foreign jobs but in India youth learn English they apply for the post of CEO like Sunder Lal Pichai (google ceo) and it is also beneficial in cricket also, most of the country talk in English only and Indian easily understand their plans but Indians like dhoni instruct the teammates in Hindi but sludges the opponent in their own language (English).

Hi, I am Dhiosmati Devi from guwahati (Assam).

My opinion is totally against it. Hindi should be used as a regional language not as an official. It may create some problems in the field of foreign relation, a diplomatic relationship which is most important part for our country to growth development. If it does not happen then our country will go back to the 14th century in the field of economic, political and social growth. For example,

India has a good relationship with America. But if Hindi registered as an official language, how can the Americans delivered their thoughts. Indirectly, Indians must be dependent on the English language. It will arise other many difficulties. Although India already has to face many problems. So it nice makes it clear that English should be an official language instead of Hindi without any hide and seek.

Hi, friends as the topic of discussion is Hindi be the official language of India.

First of all, I want to tell exactly what is the official language. The Official language is that which is use by the government, public and citizen for the official purpose, official paper, official meet and interaction between public and government official and mostly in education. Therefore official language has an enormous impact on economic, social relation.

Now, in my opinion, Hindi should not be made the official language of India as of now. I like to dictate the following reason.

1. As of now, we are a developing country, due to which we need to take help from other developing country and most of the developed country has an official language is English. Therefore as a developing country, we need to improve our relationship with other developed countries for bilateral talking, discussion. Therefore for sharing an issue, we need to communicate in English.

2. India is a diverse country, where there is a different culture, different language, different religion due to which making Hindi as an official language is a big issue. Most of the region in India does not know how to speak, write Hindi. Therefore if Hindi will make an official language than there will be chaos.

Apart from this, I want to inform that our neighbouring country China use only there language mandarine. But we can not follow them. Because there are develop the country and now they do not need help from others. In this globalised world, they can survive very well, as we know they are 12 trillion dollar economy after the USA.

Finally, I want to tell that if one day Hindi will become an official language I will very happy after becoming a developed country. Thank you.

Yeah, we should make Hindi as an official language. There is no danger for the growth or make any difference between our bilateral relations or discussion. Even our prime minister addressed In foreign countries in hindi and instead of That our international relations are getting better. So english language is only increasing difference in our society. Hindi medium and english medium has now developed in people minds. Hindi people are looked by educated people like they are alien or what. Which shows gaps in our country among people how it would progress?

Well, I won't say anything more because this is India anything could happen here so leave it.

I think no need of this, but don't make English a standard. I mean don't judge the people from their ability of speak in English.

Hello Friends,

I feel that the Hindi language could have been an official language if everyone is speaking Hindi in India. India has 22 official languages. According to Census of India, the total number of mother tongues spoken in India is 1652. However, only around 150 languages have a sizable speaking population. The Indian census of 1961 recognised 1, 652 different languages in India (including languages not native to the subcontinent).

With these statistics, if we make Hindi as an official language then Indian citizen will only suffer.

Thanks.

Indian democracy is the union of states so while expressing this type of points one should know about the constitution and their respective laws laid down by it. INDIAN PEOPLE BELIEVE IN CULTURE AND CIVILISATION SO IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO DERIVE ONLY ONE LANGUAGE. ACTUALLY, IF WE THINK PRACTICALLY WHY WE PEOPLE GETTING all systems of western type.

What's about culture people and their traditional thoughts why matters this interrupting ideas and expressions of people. The rural population is more than urban and. Who are illiterate what about them. Is there any government classes conducting for illiterate people to teach them English. If all people talk in English all people lives in cities then who live in villages Hill areas to maintain agriculture then who works in factories then who sales street marketing products. OFFICIALS DOESN'T NEED ANY KNOWLEDGE BECAUSE THEY ALREADY GETTING PROPER EDUCATION AND LIFE SO HINDI MUST OUR HOME LANGUAGE BECAUSE OF THIS TASTE AND HAPPINESS AND WAY OF EXPRESSIONS.
