Hindi should be an official language of India yes, everyone can communicate through only one language by default and it helps to proud to talk in Hindi, in the country we have many languages if someone went to from one state to Oder state de can communicate easily, if we made Hindi as an official language.

No, As Hindi is a language that is only at the convenience of the northern states and doesn't take into consideration the southern states such as Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. So a language that almost everyone can speak in our country is english. Because of the british english english was spread all across the country and was used by everyone. So I think english should be the national language and it should be mandatory for everyone in India to be literate in english.

Thank you.

Hello everyone,

In my opinion, Hindi should not be an official language in India, because there are lots of people in India who can't speak Hindi, there are many different cultures and different languages like Tamil, Punjabi, Urdu, Kannada etc in India, as we all know India is a diversified country, so Hindi should not be official language. But we should proud on the Hindi language.

I want to say, language doesn't matter to communicate, how you communicate with others is important, communication can be done by any language, if you are making Hindi is an official language there may be you reducing freedom of peoples.

Thank you.

I think, Hindi should be the official language of India because to unite the country we need a language, so why it is not Hindi as it is understood by the majority of the people.

But at the same time, we have to respect every language and give equal importance to all Indian languages for the development and happiness of the country.

No, it should not be. Because Hindi is not easy to write, understand. It is quite tough. Majority of the people didn't speak Hindi. India is a United nation. So we should speak a common language so that it is easy to communicate with others. And to show the quality of unity.

Hindi should not be the only official language of India. The official language status should be accorded to multiple languages. If it is not possible, then English should be the only official language. Education helps a child grow up and especially our higher education courses are very important. Most of our higher education courses are in English medium. Technically, English should be our default official language. If we consider the notion of identity, we must understand that Hindi is not the identity of person from non-Hindi states. Therefore, officially all languages should be nurtured equally by the GOI. The GOI should not indulge in micromanaging or manipulating language used in the everyday private chats.

Hindi should be one of the official language of India along with other spoken language in India because In many states especially in South India most people either don't know hindi or face difficulty to speak, If Hindi become the only official language of India then it will reduce the freedom of speech in many parts of India.

No, it should not be official language because India is mixed up of many tribes and communities every tribe, community speaks their own language from where they brought up. Hindi is speaking only in few states of the country but most of the other states speak their own communal language. So, it will be difficult for non-hindi speaking people if it will be made as an official language.

Hello, myself Aman. I want to say that Hindi should be our national language because there are many people in our country who can work hard, have good ideas, have good knowledge but they don't know how to speak English so they can't able to communicate with higher authority. There is a communication gap among these people with higher authority but those have capacity to deal with external world must know English and to serve our Country Hindi should we our national language.
