What are rules?

They simply mean Limitations of ' Our way Of living'.

You have to follow the rules for your goodness.

If we break the rules, we will suffer as well!

Hello, Everyone.

I think rules are made by our ancestors from their experiences so, rules are almost for our goodwill, we should follow the rules, some of the rules are not understandable to us we don't know the fact behind the rules, and we don't have that much time to know the fact behind each and every rule. So instead of breaking rules, we should try to follow it. I would like to say one thing also that if there is a situation comes where you have to break rules, before breaking rules thinks twice about result whether it is good for all or not.

Well, rules are made for a purpose and are not meant to be broken. We need to abide by the rules. This will only do us good. There are some restrictions which are quite uneasy to follow. But we need to adapt to such restricted environment in order to develop and protect ourselves. For example, our government has made it mandatory to always wear a helmet. But how many of us follow this rule? We see a notice which says "DO NOT GO BEYOND THIS LINE". But people just ignore the instruction and put their lives under risk. Rules are made for our welfare and we need to follow them to lead a peaceful and disciplined life.

Rules are not at all meant to be broken. If a person who agrees with the topic should not have right to blame another people for the same. Rules are made our betterment. It's our responsibility to follow the rules.

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE,

My name is Samra Qureshi, I am really glad to speak on the topic-Rules are meant to be broken.

First and the foremost thing is thank-you for giving me the opportunity to speak and now lets get started.

Rules are the guidelines provided to individuals to follow for a better and peaceful living. Often people concluded the following rules as restriction and feel prisoned.

As per my opinion, the application of rules depends upon the circumstances and situation.

Killing someone is not accepted against the living while killing someone on borders is accepted.

I also believe that some rule-breaking in the daily schedule gives us the opportunity to learn and explore around.

EXAMPLE- I would like to share a very common example with you. A man goes to the gym for weight-loss, his instructor asks him to follow and adhere to the planned diet. Albeit he want to lose his pounds but can't go on days without deserts or pizza, In that a small cheat day is made for him so that he can enjoy exercising along with his regime. I shared this example just to tell you about how sometimes breaking a small rule gives us gratification.

I would like to share the example of the current ongoing situation around the world- COVID-19 virus.

The government is asking the citizens to remain quarantined if they have any travel history and also asking people to remain inside their dwellings until the curfew is closed.

This is the road that is beneficial for human health. As the virus is spread through contact, physical distancing is the only way to contain its spread.

Respected Prime Minister SHREE NARENDRA MODI appealing the citizens to follow the rules and guidelines to avoid the epidemic. He is asking citizens to contain accumulation to avoid spread and further deaths. This is a great example of following the rule for the welfare of society.

Along with it, I would like to ask you all a question. The breaking of rule for the wrong reason albeit giving pleasure should be allowed?

Of course not, we cannot do anything wrong just for gratification.

I would end the topic concluding that rules are great to make and follow as it helps in bringing discipline, peace, distinction, gratification in once's life, and someone breaking it if it brings peace without knowing it won't hurt others and you can explore more.

Thank you all for patiently listening to me.

Yes!rules can be broken, but not upto the complete extent. I feel that all the rules are not meant for breaking them and also I can't particularly list out the rules that can be broken. It depends upon the situation and the importance where it is definitely necessary to break such rules. We are not at all some kind of animals to follow some other with restricted rules and regulations.

We have the right to break even a rule which is strictly implemented all over the nation if we feel uncomfortable. Rules should be in such a way that its implementation is meant for the safety and welfare of the people but not for name sake.

Hello all,

Are rules meant to be broken?

No, I don't think so, in a democratic country like India rules are made for our (the peoples) well-being and its common for all. What does it mean if we make a rule and it's we who breaks them? Yes, there are circumstances when rules must be broken, but only for a good deed and not for an individuals enjoyment.

And about politicians and businessman, as one of my friend here discussed if they are breaking the rules it's us, the same people who should put a full stop to that. Rules are not made to be broken, it should be followed because the world is stable only with rules.

Rules are meant to be broken is not true but when there is need to change the rule then we must do it.

Rules are made by keeping in mind that it will help in accomplishing the work in proper manner. But we know as time changes, new technologies evolved, new ways of handling problems are made rather than using old ones.

So, we should follow the rules but instead of breaking them find that why you are going to break them. May be that rule is not necessary nowdays to follow then replace the rule with new one which can be followed according to new generation.

Rules are meant to be broken.

The above statement can't apply to every rule. Let me discuss an example here. Courts enforce rules upon people for reducing crime and evil I'm the society. Without rules, ethics and morals, where would our society be turning into ? In this case, rules play a major role. On the other hand, there are few rules that we are following till date that need to be crossed. We used to have a rule that justified child marriage, if the same convention is being followed now, there's nothing wrong in crossing it. Children are meant t grow and develop into a brighter citizens by not being tied to marriages.

Hence, I conclude saying that, rules can be best as per the generation and their adaptability.
